Enrique Jimenez aka Big Pack is the House Salad Music label boss out of Mexico City. He discovered his love for electronic music in the mid 90's when he attended house and techno parties with local DJs. From then on, his intimate love affair with house music began. The sound of Chicago with labels like Cajual and Relief and Prescription brought him the most inspiration. His whole trajectory changed and music became his life. The task of discovering music became an infinite loop of collecting records. After 11 years of touring dance floors as a spectator and amateur DJ, in 2005 he acquired his first turntables, technics 1200s. When he finally felt he had an extensive vinyl collection, he decided to venture into the world of DJing professionally.
Now, with some years of experience, Big Pack has played in key clubs all over Mexico, opening for artists such as Kevin Saunderson, Kenny Larkin, Derrick Carter, Phil Weeks, Wally Callerio, Andrew Emil, JT Donaldson , Oliver Dollar, 1200 Warriors, to name a few.

He is busy with several internet radio show residencies on Radio Webphre and his own podcast & label, House Salad Music

Convinced of the timelessness of music, his mixes are a real tunnel of time, where he plays classics combined with the freshest of modern house.

Our guest this week is on a whipround tour of Japan and has played everywhere from the quirky low key venues in Tokyo right through to the iconic Womb club. 

The Armenian DJ & Producer flexes across multiple styles of deep house from dubby and heavy on the low end to more eclectic lofi grooves. 

Over the past few years she's struck up releases on multiple renowned deep house labels such as Closer To Truth, Lizstomania, Rewind, Blur & House Salad and her solid production has attracted some huge remixers including those of Simplex Motive & Heat Alliance!

Hey Guys N' Gals...So here as promised is the breakfast show I did on www.d3ep.com yesterday (22/09/23)it went out live at 8am-10am GMT. I really enjoyed playing some of the chilled gems featured.It was a proper journey and was well received by the listeners, some of whom weren't aware that I covered these genres.

Whats shakin funky people?!  We are back with Volume 198 of the series, and we head to South Africa to welcome the deep house maestros, Exotic Duo to SRS!!

Exotic_Duo (Kgopotso Shongwe) & (Mxova_dj)
Duo based in South Africa who grew up together, deeply in love with house music from an early age. Mostly inspired by deep house, soulful house, funk/disco and electronic music. They decided to work together since they are both inspired by the same sound. Exotic Duo was formed mid-2007 when they saw a gap in the industry of making music, they started playing at Parties, weddings and events. Their inspiration came from both local and international DJ’s.
In 2009 they decided to move to music production and have managed to work with a few artists. In 2014 they released their first EP called "Rooted In Me" on Podomatic which was appreciated by a lot of people.
In 2017 they signed with The Hiive Media, a multimedia company based in Johannesburg (South Africa) and have been busy on a couple of projects in different fields apart from music. In 2018 they worked on a podcast 45BEEHIIVECAST under The Hiive Media which is available on Podomatic, Spotify and iTunes. They have managed to play live sets which are available on YouTube in different venues and giving people
that different sound and vibe.
In 2019 they realized their second EP "The Other Side" under Lisztomania Records from Russia.

With more than 25 years of DJing experience, I prefers to mix for friends or private parties. I'm a studio DJ who try to mastered the art of beat mixing, music selection and arranging tracks to compile captivating mixes. I really like long transition and trying to do the best mixing.
I love House Music and focuses on deeper genres. With my Deep House sets I try to take the listener on a great spiritual journey with long transitions, deep vibes and downtempo beats and, I hope, a fine selection.
