Oblack’s next release comes from Sascha Dive & Christian Burkhardt with two deep cuts this March, featuring a rhythmic remix from label owners Los Pastores.

Since starting in 2012 Los Pastores’ Oblack has released music by some of the scene’s most well-known talent, with appearances from Robsoul Recordings founder Phil Weeks, Endless owner Luca Bacchetti and Dogmatik Records boss Alex Arnout. Deep Vibes label head Sascha Dive and German producer Christian Burkhardt now join the ranks with a collaborative release, previously working together on Raum...musik, Freebase Records and Burkhardt’s own label CB Sessions.

The release opens with whipping snares and as bouncing bassline in ‘Chordrush’ before dubby synths ebb and flow throughout, moving into the mesmerising ‘Craigser’ where soothing chords join echoing effects. Tying it all together, Los Pastores put their spin on ‘Craigser’ by taking the track into more percussive territories, adding breakbeat inspired drums and a variety of samples.

'Frosted Recordings proudly welcomes back top Canadian artist, Soledrifter.

With an approach to dance beats that is all his own, the man known as Soledrifter makes music that stirs the spirit to move. After immigrating from Moscow to Halifax in Canada, he began churning out tracks in his basement beat kitchen. Some of his first original tracks were put out on Toronto-based labels Stickman and Slush as well as several remixes (all released under the former aliases Deemah, D_Mon, Demar). It wasn't long before Dmitry's work started pricking up ears throughout the house music industry. Releasing 'Halifax Explosion' EP on Chicago's D'lectable Recordings in 2006 would lead to the track 'Words' being included on DJ Heather's 'House of Om' Mix for OM Records the same year.'
