Today I have the honor to premiere an artist that I deeply respect, releasing on a label with a special place in my heart.

Mary Yuzovskaya is a vinyl only DJ, producer and a label owner, with more than 15 years of experience and presence in the electronic music scene. Her life journey is one with many and exciting chapters. The beginning of her music career began in Berlin in the early 2000s, continued in New York in 2013, and made a full circle back to Berlin with her latest relocation in 2020.

She has toured the world, showcasing her craft and undeniable love for vinyl, which has certainly touched many minds and hearts. In addition to her success as a DJ, Mary’s talent and dedication have brought her becoming a producer with releases on labels such as Semantica, System Revival, upcoming Kvalia Records, and her very own Monday Off Records. 

For the 6th release of the Swedish Kvalia Records owned and curated by Linny Hex, Mary leaves the realm of the deep hypnotic techno, and surprises the audience with a more percussive and stripped down EP consisting of 3 dacefloor oriented techno cuts. The B1 - Schlaf is the track premiere of the EP, which is a strong statement of the recent mood of the artist, and conicidently the sound direction of Kvalia at the moment.

Counter Culture EP is the second installment from Informa records once agin by label boss Deepbass, 
After his influential remixes for Claudio PRC & Svart 1's Caveat Emptor EP on Mono Records he has now taken on a new concept for this release, 

The objective was to adapt dark ambient soundscapes and fuse them with intelligent techno. He has went into great depth in all the production and succeeded to create an immensely unconventional modern sound.

The release has two remixes The first remix comes from Italy's Dino Sabatini and Gianluca Meloni aka "Modern Heads" who's productions have been released on Prologue, Stroboscopic Artefacts and LINEAL.

The second remix is again from Italian producers Alessandro Larice & Stefano Greppi aka Schermate. They have been releasing music on there Schermate record label since 2009 always showcasing there very experimental musical style.

Kevin Gorman isn’t a man of many releases, but when he does release something, it’s always spot on. His last release was on Ostgut Ton, thanks to Ben Klock. He also has his own label, Mikrowave, and already did remixes for Cocoon, CLR, Skint etc. “Cast” is a real techno bomb, just like the Jonas Kopp remix on the flip. Not for the faint of heart!

When we created the label in 2017, our idea was to push new talents and to create an artist community following our philosophy. The six tracks here describe well the universe we want to promote, raw, mental and sci-fi techno with a big attention to details and sound design. 

The various starts with a close friend of the label Soul Tide Zone that show us another side of his project with a powerful ambient track “Oracle”. Then comes “Tembeling”, produced by one of the label manager 9beats, mixing sci-fi forest ambiance with a strong organic bassline. Third track “A.I.” is from the Lyon based DJ and composer Nicolas Rifo, fast rolling toms with a dark atmosphere will guide you on this one. The first part of the various shows that CWR is not intended to focus on one style but more on the emotion and ambiance of the tracks. 

Second part starts with the parisian based modularist dc11 and his track “Electron”. He took our attention these last months, dropping really strong and precise techno that clearly match the label. Then comes “Supo x1000” from Mersel that will easily find a place on your sets. Last artist highlight on this release is Benabou with her track “Torment”, mixing analog percussions with a strong lead.
