They believed that witches could turn people into beasts that could speak, that magic rings could make their owners invisible, and all the other wonders in the stories. Then, as the world became grown-up, the fairy tales which were not written down would have been quite forgotten but that the old grannies remembered them, and told them to the little grandchildren: and when they, in their turn, became grannies, they remembered them, and told them also. So the new SHANGO RECORDS EP is a compilation and includes seven amazing remixes for your personal book of tales. Songs about love, hate, broken dreams, suffocation and holding hands.

Contenance & Miles Away are a swiss based DJ and Producer Duo. They started their project around five years ago, being enchanted by their hometowns cozy electronic scene, where they both
worked at clubs behind the scenes. Their love for music planted an urge to dive in deeper into mixing their own sounds. So they started meeting frequently, exchanging tracks and mixing
together all kinds of different sounds they enjoyed at the time. It wasn't long till they got invited to play their sets in local clubs. From there they elavated themselves fastly into Switzerland's
electronic music scene, and shared stages with many of their idols.
Music has always been a big part in their lives, whether it would be trying out different instruments
or playing in bands, or just consuming sounds from all parts of the world and from all kinds of different genres. Many influences can be heard in their sets and own productons. They
don't like to limit themselves with genre boundaries, they would rather try to blend in different styles into something new and exciting. Sometimes they like it slow and relaxed, sometimes they
like it fast and energetic. But what you most certainly always can hear is their love for melodies.
Recently they spent a lot of time in the studio, working on their first self produced tracks. In these you can hear the influences of the many sounds that have followed them over the years, yet they
succeeded at creating something new, something of their own, something that stands out. They are very
excited to release their first EP on Wanderlust Musica and they are looking forward to share this musical journey with the rest of the World.
