Outside traditional paths these driving grooves and polyphonic structures take the adventure seeking dancer to Dionysian highs and places never been before.

Long before this time has come in a mysterious and strange place where animals can speak and trees are made of poetry one exotic bird fly away from its home to find where the happiness is. The bird flew into the open skies leaving behind unknown lands and mythical landscapes, old mountains and blooming gardens, people of sorrow and happiness, Shamans into ancient temples and villagers into green-grass lands. One day the bird landed into the land of mount Oka, where the almond trees were full of beautiful white and rose flowers. The bird take a look around, close its eyes and start building the dreams that we all dream. Jean Vayat is a man of wisdom and happiness. This is his third offering for Shango Records. Minimal Mystic is a new music label. Our purpose is to collect unique audio recordings from many different cultures and traditions of our world in order to combine special “Various Artists Eps” music collections with separate ethnographic subjects and elements of our sound banks. With the aim to experiment with those recordings we’re striving to create special tracks into Downtempo and Midtempo Organic & Minimalistic electronic waveforms. Let’s travel around our world, our past and our future with Minimal Mystic music magic bus.
In our fourth music journey we’ve got amazing recordings by traditional polyphonic groups. The polyphonic song of Epirus is a form of traditional folk polyphony practiced among Albanians, Aromanians, Greeks and formerly among ethnic Macedonians in southern Albania and northwestern Greece. The polyphonic song of Epirus is not to be confused with other varieties of polyphonic singing, such as the yodeling songs of the region of Muotatal, or the Cantu a tenore of Sardinia. Scholars consider it an old tradition, which either originates from the ancient Greek and Thraco-Illyrian era, or the Byzantine era, with influences from Byzantine music. For this journey we’ve invited five quality artists of the Downtempo/Organic-House/Electronica scene to get inspiration and use these recordings in order to come out with their own tracks. The end result is purely magic as we travel from Hungary to Greece and from Morocco to Lebanon with a kaleidoscope of sounds and moods. BΛLΛDI (Balint Boldizsar), Haris Kate, Jeronimo Karpouzakis, Orkidz and Rabih Rizk are the pilots for this amazing journey into past, present and future by Minimal Mystic Records. Dig deep and you’ll find a world of mysticism, contradictions and pure, crystal clear beautiful sounds!

Sangeet • Deep Within Ourselves • THE ODDNESS Remix

Mantra "Om Mani Padme Hum" - one of the most famous mantras in Mahayana Buddhism, especially characteristic of Tibetan Buddhism, is the six-syllable mantra of the bodhisattva of compassion Avalokiteshvara. The mantra is especially associated with Shadakshari (Lord of the Six Syllables), the incarnation of Avalokiteshvara, and has a deep sacred meaning.

This mantra has many meanings. All of them come down to explaining the meaning of the totality of sacred sounds of its constituent syllables. The mantra itself is rarely interpreted in the sense due to its literal translation: "Oh, the pearl that shines in the lotus flower!"

In particular, the 14th Dalai Lama explains that the mantra represents the purity of the body, speech and mind of the Buddha. The second word (མ་ཎི། - "jewel") corresponds to bodhichitta - the desire for awakening, compassion and love. The third word (པ་དྨེ། - "lotus flower") refers to wisdom. The fourth word (ཧཱུྃ།) personifies the indivisibility of practice (method) and wisdom.

This mantra has its own name, namely “Six-syllable”, which is traditionally explained [by whom?] by the ability of the six syllables of the mantra to save living beings from birth in the six vales of samsara (hellish worlds, the world of hungry ghosts, the world of animals, the world of people, the world of demigods, the world of the gods), while each syllable symbolizes a certain world.

The practice of reading the "Six-syllable" in order to liberate living beings is reflected, in particular, in the Tibetan practice of reciting dharani "The practice of heavenly activity of Avalokiteshvara": OM - removes pride and conceit, MA - removes jealousy and envy, NI - removes attachment and selfish desires, PAD - dispels ignorance and confusion, ME - dissolves greed and greed, HUM - transforms hatred and anger.

Another, much more common colloquial designation for this mantra is Mani, by which name it is commonly known and used by Tibetan and Mongolian Buddhists.

There is also a version that claims that reading the mantra gives prosperity, abundance and money, where Om means Brahma, who is beyond everything unmanifested, Mani is a gem or crystal, Padme is a lotus, Hum is the heart.
