Funkyjaws is the Belarusian DJ and producer Sergey Abramov, who has been dropping his funky disco heat on the likes of Kolour LTD and Shadeleaf Music before now, as well as his own fledgling self-titled imprint. This one kicks off with 'WME' which has some big horn action and stomping disco drums to liven up any party. 'Snapshot' has a raw vocal and atmospheric energy that is sure to uplift and 'Dancin' then brings some sweet hip-swinging claps. It's a string-laced disco affair to close with the majestic 'You'.

"Stogov makes his return to the Esquimau imprint after last year's collaborative release with Alexey Zhurba, this time offering a solo EP titled 'Aroma'. Building on a similar sonic foundation, this release brings a fresh, late-night radio session energy, where velvety Rhodes and jazzy piano licks solid sonic soundscape. On remix duty is French producer Sable Blanc, who has built a reputation for his smooth, creamy, and buttery sound. His rework of 'Aroma' takes the track in a new direction, infusing it with an atmospheric jungle twist. Sable Blanc revives the nostalgic sound of 90s intelligent broken beats, adding a layer of complexity and groove while still preserving the original track's ethereal charm. The second track, 'Wonder Story' shifts gears with a more club-ready vibe. This garage house anthem features signature elements like shuffling syncopated drums, deep, soulful organ chords, and stabs that give the track its dynamic energy."

Terry Usher takes things deep on a new outing for Saint Wax that has spiritual overtones and Afro vibes exuding from every beat. '8 Hours' opens up with the sort of spine-tingling vocals and pensive pads that take any floor higher. 'Never Leave You' is a percussive groove with an infectious sense of skip and 'M' Pon' then picks things up with chanting vocals and warrior leads next to rousing horns full of soul. 'O' Wey' closes out with steel-plated drums and soft shakers bringing plenty of late-night magic.
