Record producer, bass player and all round talented guy Nate08 hails from Mumbai, India where his solo work has made him a formidable presence's in India's independent music scene. LOJAL (pronounced Loyaal) is the musical brainchild of 23 year old Martin J. Haokip - a musical connoisseur of an artiste born in Manipur, India. Through Lojal, explore various realms of performances & music as we continually push the bars/boundaries of creative art & indie music. 

After a series of tours and various identities/projects, LOJAL now has a bunch of singles out, a critically acclaimed debut album "Phase" which got dubbed the best debut album award 2020, India and the best male vocalist 2021 by the Indies Music Awards apart from other accolades and mentions from Rolling Stone, WIldCity and Homegrown.


In true Nate08 fashion, this song begins with some beautiful pads before an urban punchy beat couples up with the vocals. Instantly the song is grooving, the lyrics flow through and are as tight as could be. The hook is one that you can't get out of your head and  the delivery into the chorus is seamless, keeping the flow and chilled out vibe. The production with pads and layers pumping throughout is what we expect, without overpowering each other and the Nate08 hook sounds huge as he doubles and shifts it.

To Kick off RESONATE I've put together a compilation inspired by my recent trip to Cabo to surf, visit a good friend, and celebrate his Wife's birthday. We drove for hours on dirt roads to a remote location on the tip of Baja, and stayed at an amazing little spot tucked away out there. The beaches are still absolutely pristine, with little to no development. We were lucky to find a sound guy that had just what we needed! So, I planned a set and played for the crew we had out there to celebrate from sunset to nightfall. From the vibrant Orange sunsets of Baja to the stars that looked like diamonds in the sky without any light pollution, the vibe was fantastic. The mix I have here for you features some of the music I played that evening.
