DDD is ecstatic to welcome Tennessee’s finest sub flexor Chief Kaya to the roster, with his weighty, wobbly and woozy debut two tracker: Burning Bush / Implicit.

Bringing classic UK dubstep flavours to the table with fresh execution, these tracks carry so much heat they quite literally caused a bassbin to be engulfed in flames - much like the classic biblical tale that is the inspiration. 

Burning Bush begins proceedings with its infectious synths, reverb drenched snare and low end wubs, before Implicit finishes the job with top tier wonk and intricate hihat patterns.

Mike has been a musician/multi instrumentalist for 21 years in and around the Northern California area, opening for acts like Slothrust, Joyce Manor, Awakebutstillinbed, Mom Jeans, Prince Daddy and the Hyena, ’68, and Hail the Sun. 

Songs range from rock, and psychedelic punk; to EDM, Dubstep, Riddim.
