Die by the Sword - Infrasound 2025 Set - DDD Guest Mix

Athena makes dubstep with intention - anchored at 140, but shaped by the mood of the room, the weight of a moment. Drawn to tension more than release, her sound leans textured, restrained, and built for pressure. It’s meant less for the spotlight, more for the ones who feel it in their chest before their feet.

This mix was made for what’s coming - released in summer, but created for the colder shift ahead: unrelenting and thick with shadow. Still, whatever the season or setting, Athena’s sound lingers the same… immersive, deliberate, and never chasing the obvious.

Athena will be performing at DDD Halloween - Mission Ballroom, Denver on Saturday 1st of November!

Born in the redwoods of Kings Mountain, CA and now based in Denver, CØNTRA (Ezra Arenson) blends deep dubstep and world bass into an organic, nature-infused sound. With over a decade in Denver’s bass scene, his music fuses dark, spacious atmospheres, hypnotic low-end, and global textures. This 60-minute mix for Deep Dark & Dangerous showcases his signature sound and captures the raw energy of his live sets.

Hailing from Carlisle (UK), producer and DJ Hypho is representing all shades of UK bass music with experimental beats ranging from 100-140 BPM. Hypho is signed to Deep, Dark and Dangerous, Encrypted Audio, Time Is Now and Swamp81. He also founded Manuka, a label that is showcasing forward thinking bass music and supporting the 140 Dubplate culture.
