Episode 8 of our mix series coming in hot from over the pond. It's our pleasure to welcome to the label @saraphimdubs AKA RNS & RDubz. This power duo are consistently pushing some of our favourite tunes and this mix is a fantastic representation of their sound. Essex based duo Saraphim is RNS and RDubz two producer DJ’s who generally work around the 140 spectrum, mixing in ethnical influences into their music. They can also be found making any style of music that comes to mind in a studio session under the duo name of RNS & Rdubz for their more experimental work.
Graduating through Education & Bass, RNS & RDubz have been going under the "Saraphim" alias for 2 years, this release follows a single release on
Education & Bass, a 4 track EP release with Locus Sound, a track on Sentry Records’ Syndicate Pt 2 compilation, a remix for Dread or Dead Records, 2
releases with Japanese based Vomitspit and also most recently appeared on a compilation for the previously mentioned Locus Sound.
When it comes to dj mixes they like to keep the energy up with system music but melody is a mainstay in the direction that they go so you can expect weighty sections amongst more musical vibes, ethnic and grimey twists too, that pretty much encompasses what 140 is about for them.
