Dark Society:

Canada’s finest Portland-based bass overlord, Stylust, is back on Deep, Dark & Dangerous ready to destroy rib cages, haunt nightmares and provoke your worst fears in his ground shaking mini-album, Dark Society. 

Across the seven unrelenting tracks, the producer isn’t in the mood to play nice - with Stylust’s virtuoso skill set complemented by collaborations with some of the hottest talent on DDD’s roster including Abstrakt Sonance, Ashez, Jleon and Wraz.

The first four tracks come at you thick and fast - including lead singles Boiler Room and eponymous Dark Society - featuring fat grimey synths, wild throbbing basslines and slapping percussion. 

Stay Close offers some refuge from the barrage of sub frequencies in melodic flourishes and atmospheres, but still harnesses the throughline of menacing eeriness and tension.

Trap-influenced Run Dem comes thundering in to restore the heat before The Crypt Keeper finishes proceedings like the Grim Reaper bestowing death upon us all.
