Subterrânea  is back with our thirteenth episode, DJ @fenrirfromthenorth from Norway brought the Iberian heat to our podcast with 94 minutes of pure techno hypnosis.

He started DJ’ing in 95 in Oslo and played at various events and since making web based radio past few years. 

He felt and affinity towards synths when he was ten which he then didn’t know the name to. He started listening to Fleetwood Mac, ELO, Kraftwerk in his early ages. The 80`s came and synths took over music.

He also hosted so many podcasts though SoundCloud such as Beatbox, Ambassdors, Deep House Norway, Pas-Risky and many more. 

Fenrir plays a variety of styles, but best known for the Progressive, Melodic Techno and Melodic House and much more.

This UK based upcoming talent caught our eye a few months back with one of his sessions. We quickly felt that he was someone our podcast was missing out on, so it was only a matter of time that we invited him as our next guest.

Essco believes the quality music should utilise the key driving forces of several electronic genres. “I try to incorporate the euphoria of trance, the groove of house and the mood of techno”. 

He has released on various respected labels including Fragrant and JOOF and gained support from world famous DJ’s. Essco’s sound has been described as something that is filled with personality and emotion but also hits hard on the dance-floor.

Julian Moreno, nacido en la ciudad de Mar del Plata el 13 de marzo de 1998.
Comenzó su carrera como dj en el año 2017, influenciado por grandes djs locales de la ciudad.  
Poco a poco comenzó a ganar reconocimiento entre sus colegas y el público, a pesar de ser todavía relativamente joven, ha estado trabajando duro, dedicándole horas a la producción músical y de eventos. La razón por la que siempre se ha mantenido a favor es
porque la música que muestra en pista es de una naturaleza atemporal sin esfuerzo. No sigue las tendencias ni los tropos del momento, sino que se enfoca en generar algo más profundo dentro de sus sets, donde haya una línea estructural que comparta mismos elementos y tenga una identidad diferente.
Julian sigue en la búsqueda constante de su propio sonido, teniendo en cuenta y siendo influenciado principalmente por el progressive. Otros de los géneros, en el cual se desenvuelve y se siente identificado con su sonoridad son: organic house, Deep house, melodic techno/house, entre otros..

After seasons of cultivation, it is with absolute pleasure I can now share the birthing of a new creative project Aloy Sōl.

Aloy Sōl is the combination of two passionate minds (Jem Bray & I) forming to create an intricately detailed immersive experience harnessing sound and vision. By performing side by side cultivating the experience in partnership this is far beyond any DJ/VJ show. Aloy Sōl is a carefully constructed and curated performance art piece pairing sound and light in perfect harmony.

As a pair of like-minded creatives born on the same day we felt that the combination of two metals (Alloy/Aloy) and sharing the same rotation day around the (Sun/Sōl), Aloy Sōl was the right representation. 
It was with great pleasure and privilege we chose to perform our initial show recently at the long anticipated Wildwood Reunion.  After the performance being positively received and with such connection this has given Aloy Sōl much more oxygen to the already ignited flame of the future. Having both been around this industry a while which has given us another amazing opportunity to create something unique and special. 

On a personal… FUCK!! Have I missed Wildwood…. I have missed the love, sense of belonging, fun, satisfaction and SURGE of creative energy afterglow. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I have not felt this inspired and “like me” in years and I have my Wildwood family to thank for that.

Three years apart and it was like we never left. Wildwood baby!
