Our next dpr_xs_podcast episode is a soothing one hour live recording by an artist we follow for some time now and who has an incredible diverse musical output, both as a musician and as the founder of "Secuencias Temporales", a label who describes itself with the words "Multidisciplinary Exploration in the purest and deepest version of the work of our artists.". He put together this live recording focusing on subsonic frequencies, ambient and drone with subtle changes and progressions - half of it is done digitally modulated live and the other half is done analog with some machines. Artist biography :
Yin Yang Audio is the essence of experimentation. Coming from various genres, I attempt to carve out a sound with no genre restrictions. the project began to take shape with the release 'From the void' on Onset Audio where the idea was to break sonic barriers- grab themes from techno, deep dnb, indusrial, ambient and the experimental melt it into a crucible and see what kinds of awesome shapes come about.

The Mexican-born, Barcelona-based duo Øbsidiaän return to the label with their Imago EP, three original takes on their research through 'Techno-infused experimental Drum and Bass' or as they call it: 'Dub & Bass'.

Including two beautifully crafted, Techno-oriented remixes by John Plaza and !nertia, two excellent and prominent artists which need no further introduction, thus rounding up this EP with a profound, diversified and fresh sonic journey.

Ending the year with an awesome mix by @FlxK1, a Berlin-based DJ, producer, and label honcho. His perspective has been a big inspiration in the music scene since the late '90s, from killer work on various labels to unforgettable performances.

This mix is a shout-out to 25 years of Hidden Hawaii and 10 years of Nullpunkt Recordings. Some of it you could hear at our London party in August 2023. Big thanks to Felix for this mix, and here's to many more awesome releases in the future.

Our third artist of the year is the musical project of London-based Italian music producer and DJ; Dario Picchi. Melting all the different musical influences absorbed during the 10 years he has spent in the UK, Soreab has been making a name for himself in the local electronic underground scene.
							
With a personal music background, informed by dance, progressive and techno, which goes back to early teenage years, his intertextual productions gravitate around UK bass, grime, dubstep, drum & bass, tribal and IDM. Soreab is one half of Baroque Sunburst records. 
						
His thought process behind the mix; "I've been playing my favourite half-tempo chuggers that have been released from artist who I like in the past years with the concept of shuffling from drumstep to hybrid drum and bass/jungle whilst giving a taste of riddim/bashment and space in between which gives a bit of relief intensity wise but keeps the energy high"
