Noted for his versatility and musical range, Philip attributes much of his influences to his Middle Eastern heritage and western upbringing. Known for his unmistakable sound, Philip's DJ sets and productions are rich with groovy hypnotic melodies and driving basslines.

In his young years, Philip played percussion with his brother Julien and some high schoolmates, performing as musical act Elemental.  Over the years, he began working more frequently in the studio on original productions and remixes, and further developed his audio engineering skills.

While staying in Europe, Philip promoted his sound at festivals like the Amsterdam Dance Event and Tomorrowland. Chedid performed with some of the world's most celebrated artists from all dance music genres.

Now residing in Los Angeles, Philip continues to work on his craft and is recognized as an up-and-coming artist with much potential in the scene. Look out for future releases by Philip Chedid on Beatport, Trackitdown, Itunes, and other digital stores.

MkO began his musical career in 2010 with a weekly bar residency in his hometown until his latter in music grew on a larger scale. He has since played alongside some prominent names in house music such as Yokoo, Atish, Nico Stojan, Matthew Dekay, Stavroz, Chaim and many more. Today, MkO’s spotlight as an emerging artist is one to look out for as his distinct style of deep melodic house creates an extraordinary dance floor journey. In 2016, MkO and his partners created the music platform SBCLTR LA. 

Masterfully well prepared, his mix for DHAthens delivers a deep and melodic vibe, an awesome music selection and a stunning flow. Enjoy an eclectic journey that starts deep and calm but move upwards to the groove.

DHAthens Exclusive Mix #36 - MkO

Born into a musical family, Tyler Flanagan was passionate about music from a young age. 

Experimenting with production and vocals through his highschool years, Tyler started DJing in 2010 while attending college in Rochester, NY. 

After holding down a residency at Dubland Underground for two years through his first project with Greg Gianopoulos and under the alias Gone To America (GTA), Tyler got the opportunity to open for some internationally touring acts as well as play some of the top clubs in Rochester, Buffalo and upstate New York. 

After returning to Toronto, Tyler began to play some iconic venues including The Social, Wrongbar, Toika, One Loft, The Drake Underground, Riva, Shallow Groove, Thymeless and more.

Tyler stepped away from the limelight for the last few years to hone his craft behind the scenes and in the studio. Releasing his more experimental side through his alias Visceral One, he now brings his latest project, Sanctified Soünds. 

This project is focused on a range of house and techno. From deep, melodic and progressive to driving and industrial, with all the right bits in between. 

Tyler focuses on bringing the right energy that is needed for each event, mix or stream. Pulling from his library of carefully selected music, Tyler is a strong believer in playing tracks he has an emotional connection with... in hopes of making people feel something and connecting with his audience on a deeper level.

Stay tuned for his soft launch on November 18th (followed by his first label release shortly after) as he unfolds his carefully crafted plan to spread his infectious positive energy through music.

We are pleased to present our latest chapter from DJ Joma (@jomadjay). His path to house music began 25 years ago when a friend of his gave him Sasha's BBC Radio One Essential Mix-tape. In recent years, he has taken his music to many places and Eastern Europe, especially Montenegro and Croatia, where in 2019 he performed for 12 nights consecutively at the Croatian Open ATP Tennis Tournament in Umag within various Beach clubs and VIP cocktail lounges. Although he has developed a style that suits perfectly for the venues he likes to play (Beach Clubs, Cocktail Bars, VIP Lounges, Exclusive Restaurants), what DJ Joma values most is that he's focused on enhancing the overall experience rather than imposing his own style as an artist. 
His mix is something a little deep and dreamy.
