“Boomerang” is the latest collaboration between Sharrol Kelby and Hubac, and is the second song on Kelby’s upcoming EP “Driving School” – set to release on Friday, November 26 on iLL Gates’ Producer Dojo label.
 
The song starts with a hi-pitched melody with some fast paced, faded hats & a crisp snare to start building tension right away. The buildup really brings in the full boomerang effect; including fills that sound like an actual boomerang rotating through the wind, increasing vocal pitches, and fading percussion. Then, BANG! The drop brings it back with a heavy, distorted bass and ricochet movement that maintains the theme of the song. It’s then accompanied by a chiptune melody that brings in the hypnotizing breakdown. The second drop utilizes breaks to bring in the distorted bass and hard kick, this time as a full face-melter, followed by more chiptune and booming 808s in the end of the second drop leading back to the boomerang theme.
