So bring forth the new kids on the block SKANTIA, OPERATE and KLINICAL as they touch down with their first single on Silver's NEMESIS RECORDINGS. These guys are taking the jump up scene by storm with their twisted and brutal take on the music form.

Kicking off this 2 track stormer is TAUNT. A rough terrain rugged riddim that will cause a riot on the floor. Heavy kicks and slamming snares gets intwined with stabbed out twisted bass notes that will turn your stomach inside out, while the pitched down vocal runs along with the groove of the track to make it that edgy, dark dance floor anthem. Already gaining attention and support from the likes of DJ HYPE, HAZARD, GUV, ANNIX, TURNO, NORTH BASE, TYKE and many more key players in the game. Another tune to be a big contender within the jump up Drum & Bass scene this year. DO NOT SIT ON THIS ONE! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Moving to the other side now and we have the sounds of WILE OUT with it's laid back melodic intro to get the show started. Soon as it gets going, the WILE OUT vocal starts pulsating throughout over the luscious soundscape layers that builds up too this dance floor destroyer. Once dropped all hell is let loose as we get to hear Heavy well produced drum programming over some dub wise bubbling basslines. Trust me, these guys are not messing around. Be sure to keep you eyes on these guys with more music forthcoming on the label.

Bristol-based newcomer KØDE-1 steps up the pace yet again with a new release on one of the Drum & Bass scene's top hotspots for the best in new talent: Oscity. The imprint are always breaking fresh, new talent and that trend continues here on 'Pipeline', which sees KØDE-1 link up with another exciting talent (and this time on a vocal tip): Banditt. Both are heavily involved in startup label Draconian Audio, the former as an artist and the latter as co-founder, and we're really excited by what all parties are bringing to the table at the moment. The sky's blue, grass is green and Oscity are dropping yet more new heat - it's a certainty. Grab this one tomorrow.

Rounding off the year, Archaea returns with his third official release for Noxious - Urghh/Get Down. This massive single release is a two-sided banger that expertly parades the creativity and technical expertise of Archaea. Since his debut Daedra EP, Archaea has come in leaps and bounds,  perfecting his craft and developing his signature style full of twisted basses, scatty glitches and tight, intricate percussion. By no means an exception to his rule, this single release is testament to the Archaea sound; Urghh is an in-your-face number that  blends the lines between minimal and tech, with signature Archaea glitches accompanying in expert fashion. The B-side is nothing short of an anthem - a heavy stepper with a beautiful vocal track from Bethany to accompany it, Get Down brings the levels back down to earth until the drop smashes you back into orbit; this number is a heavy hitter that's sure to blow you away as much as it did us when it hit our inbox!
