After a killer summer of Ibiza shows, flourishing DJ/producer FLORENTIA bursts back into release mode, debuting on Solardo's label SOLA via Armada. 

This rolling tech house groover, also forms part of ‘Sola Presents Ibiza 2024’, which was carefully curated by label heads Solardo. This release showcases some of the Island’s most exciting tech-house talent including FLORENTIA, Duke & Jones and Castion. After such insane dancefloor reactions, 'Playground Games' was given its own pre-release window as a single. An artist who understands groove, Nicola Gavino’s sound echoes vintage flavours with distinct funky and fresh rhythms. His summer has been a busy one, with performances at the likes of Kappa FuturFestival and his long-running residency at Turin’s Audiodrome Club, plus releases on Dennis Cruz and Eddy M’s MÜSE imprint, SOSA’s label COCO, and more. Now, as he steps out on Jamie Jones’ revered Hot Creations for the first time, the Italian talent puts his best foot forward across three peak-time house cuts inspired by the label boss himself.

“The main track was inspired by a video of Kappa's mainstage in 2022 recorded from a friend's phone. Jamie was playing this glitched edit of Sweet Dreams (which I only found more than a year later) which really blew my mind. I watched it so many times that I felt the need to make something myself, recreating and exaggerating that special vibe. The track being. chosen by Jamie himself for Hot Creations is more than a goal and an honour for me; it is about paying respect to a label and a DJ who always inspired me and which I look up to.” - Nicola Gavino

With its sharp synths, feel-good trumpets and deep driving bassline, the spirit of Chicago house is present in opener ‘Givin’ My Love’. Next, ‘Lazer Tool’ offers a more modern minimal sound, rich with percussion and distorted SFX. Closing out the EP, ‘Pump Up’ combines elements from the first two tracks with cutting percussive kicks, warping distorted vocals and a grooving hypnotic bass that’s destined for the dancefloor.

Venice-based rising DJ/producer Marco Rubin has been impressing the industry's finest with his energetic productions, including Loco Dice, Joseph Capriati, and The Martinez Brothers. Despite debuting just last year, he's already made a swift impact on Amine Edge & DANCE’s CUFF and Jamie Jones’ Hot Creations sub-label Hottrax, hinting at a promising future. Now, as he prepares for his second release on Jones’ groove-heavy imprint, Rubin drops three thumping house tracks across his 'Time To Dance’ EP.

“These tracks were born from the idea of capturing the pure energy and adrenaline you feel when you're on the dance floor. I wanted to create tracks that evoke that perfect moment when the music transports you, the rhythm becomes irresistible, and you truly feel it's time to dance. My inspiration came during nights in the clubs, where the connection between the music and the crowd is palpable, and it's that sense of freedom that I aimed to translate into sound.” - Marco Rubin 

‘Time To Dance’ kicks off with jacking grooves, crisp beats, and vocals that instruct movement on the dancefloor, while ‘Percussion’ pulses with hot, bouncy beats and fresh, vibrant drums layered over a slick, funk-filled groove. Closing with deep, pulsating tones and electrifying clatters, 'Electro Diva' crafts an irresistible, menacing blend that grips the senses.

Underground heroes Goosey & Mattia Scolaro join forces with the dynamic “Hey Baby” via Kaluki Musik.

Goosey, whose unique sound is inspired by the iconic DC10 club, has gained support from heavyweights like Jamie Jones, Marco Carola, Michael Bibi, and Joseph Capriati. Joining him is Italian DJ and producer Mattia Scolaro, whose groove-laden style—shaped by 90s hip-hop influences—has led to releases on labels like MoodChild, Rawthentic, and TakeNotes.
