How can one musically capture the spirit of Ibiza? For decades now, countless amount of feet have been shifting weight to the sounds of monstrous sound systems and legendary DJs. Throughout the years, the island serves as the ultimate clubbing asylum: a place where electronic music defines culture and not the other way around.
Being a dominant player on the island and taking a lead role in shaping its musical development, Deeperfect is proud to present its annual, modest musical interpretation of Ibiza in a 22 tracks compilation, carefully selected by label talent Elio Riso. Within this collection, 6 tracks were selected from the label's recent work to represent the sound of Ibiza. 16 more are completely new, designed and produced specifically for this project. All tracks remain faithful to Deeperfect's unique sound: pounding Tech-House with crisp drums, decisive synths and tribal elements.
The last and 23rd piece of this puzzle is a powerful blend of all other 22 pieces: a continuous mix of all tracks by Elio Riso, demonstrating the application of these wonderful works on any dance floor, allowing the listeners soul a quick visit to Ibiza any time they are in need of an asylum.

The unrelenting force that is Hot Creations often acts as a breeding ground for raw talent. This next release does just that with four ‘Hot Jams’ from upcoming artists Lee Walker, Pete Dorling, Neil Parkes and Greeko.

First up, young producer Lee Walker from Middlesbrough makes his debut on Hot Creations delivering ‘That Little Ditty’, which takes hold with a deeply intoxicating bassline, prominent hi-hats and punchy stabs that build to a frenzied climax. Shooting onto the scene in 2015 with his off-the-cuff edit of DJ Deeon’s ‘Freak Like Me’, which played by the likes of Marco Carola, Dixon and Loco Dice, soon gained over 1 million hits on Youtube and was finally picked up by Defected Records.

Having featured on ‘Hot Summer Jams’ on the label back in 2014, Essex DJ and producer Pete Dorling is back with another killer track. ‘Manyana’ drives with a heavy bassline as tribal vocal cuts are played throughout. Other releases can be seen on the likes of VIVa Music, Resonance Productions and NoFitState.

Also appearing on the same ‘Hot Summer Jams’, Neil Parkes is back on board the label with ‘Peil Narkes.’ A swinging bassline sets the groundwork as layers of moody synths roll out over punchy hats. Since his first release on Metroline Limited, Neil has spread his wings releasing on labels such as MadTech, Leftroom Limited and Underground Audio.

SNOE welcomes the new year with a feisty Tech House EP by Colombian Julez Cordoba. Currently living in Hamburg he is as well known for his superb mood as his great parties, which he translates wonderfully into his music. 

The title track “Wow” is packed with energy. Wild percussions and a funky groove is supported by housy chords, creating a big drive in the track. Second track is a remix by Obiter. Also based in Hamburg this guys has certainly proved himself as one to watch the next years, mesmerizing people with his positive and groove loaded music. 

“Groovin’ On” is just that. Groove focused and catchy this tune has proved itself to be great fun on the dance floor. The third track is the original “Groovin’ On”, and again we are met by a fierce drum work that explodes in a hurricane of percussions and synths. We are happy to start the year with such a tight release, please enjoy our SNOE048.
