We are excited to welcome Solidstice to NYLO with their brand new single, 'Running’. Featuring two ingenious remixes by NYLO alumni ‘Monoteq’ and long time favourite 'Happy Gutenberg', who both deliver peak time monsters that introduce very different elements for different times of the day. Solidstice's original use of percussion phrases and the vocal throughout their version reinforces the house grooves and adds character to create a distinctive sound that keeps the single fresh and exciting. Full of soul, huge synth lines and instant accessibility.

Monoteq's interpretation utilises a groovy, melodic bass that is reinforced using harmonic elements which culminates into a perfect synopsis between a danceable and sunset vibe laid back track with a lot of very interesting elements. Happy's mix uses the vocals to create funky rhythms over the top of some steaming kick drums, that is going to shatter any dance floor into the universe. Synth stabs lend themselves well across his version where they really augment the flow of the track.

The release opens with 'Closer' a perfect example of how a modern house jam should sound like. The track centers around a melodic groove, cleverly chopped beats and complementing vocals which create a moody and emotional vibe. In combination with some swinging drums half way thru, a lot positive energy is unleashed that takes you right to any happening house club at sunset in the world, emphasizing the vast musical spectrum this release has on offer. Next up we welcome Stefre Roland & DJ Quba on remix duty. They blend groovy rhythms, subtle drums and cleverly chopped piano samples.
