T.I.B, a producer and DJ from Cape Town has been working his craft in production
since 2017. He has since released on many labels nationwide, building his
catalogue with prominent record labels such as Kalushi Recordings, Ambious
Records, Round Robin Recordings, Rogue Decibels, Deep Society Music and Oh So
Coy. T.I.B has also ventured into a number of remix projects, and he always
inspires to continue to work on new music and pioneer a new niche within the
house industry circle.
Tremendous In Bloom, a representative for Cape Town based label Garden Groove
Music works closely with friend and mentor W.NN.E as the A&R Manager. Together
the two form the "Gardener's" whom sow the seeds of music and cultivate the
labels ever blooming catalogue.
As a DJ, his style of bass driven grooves, ambient textures and melodic influences
has led him to play at events held around the Western Cape and Gauteng,
alongside local pioneers within the industry. His distinctive sound is intoxicating as
it is blissful. Drawing inspiration from an array of individuals they have made a
mash-up of their influences to master a unique and exclusive sound.
A burning passion to push his own unique taste, by fusing music, art and poetry,
releasing artistic pieces that tell a story of struggle, motivation and brighter days.
As a musician growth and persistent erudition has led him on a creative path
through the House music dynasty.
With this, he is the talent showcasing the finest local uncommon precedents and
not to mention an occasional provider of dance floor bombs.

DHSA Podcast 057 - T.I.B (Garden Groove Music)

We enter the season of spring by welcoming L-Dee to the label with a 4 track EP titled "Keep On" packed with local house flavor, idiosyncratic vocals and flair filled musicality. The EP features vocalists Lilah and Azizo as well as Ed-Ward, G-Nice and Hypaphonik. The EP opens with "Deep Roots" featuring Hypaphonik, a low bass grooved floor jammer with a smooth vocal chops. "Clipper" Ft Ed-ward & G-Nice keeps the dancefloor theme and boasts high energy with a running stab and an arp riding a driven bass and sizzling keys within the arrangement. Up next is "I Still Love You" ft Lilah whose deeply intense vocals and lyrics paints the picture of a longing and pained heart on top of a upbeat "Kasi" flavored house track. To complete the EP is the title track "Keep On" ft Azizo, a rolling bass and groove filled drums with L-Dee's signature synth work, pushes the vocal message of moving forward, no matter the outcome.

A collaboration of music transpired on Spotify with Zito Mowa and Krippsoulisc to give rise to Garden Groove Music's latest pulsating release - Goat Stew. This power hitting, neck breaking track brings forth the versatile sound brewing in Limpopo. It's a celestial alignment of two contrasting sounds, Zito with his scuffed house and Krippsoulisc with his welcoming offering of techy dub.

The three track EP features W.N.N.E and China Charmeleon on remix duties. Their contribution to Goat Stew beautifully wraps this EP in delicate sounds and packages it for listeners to explore all spheres of music.

On the second track, W.N.N.E takes the listener on a blissful, eyes closed adventure of sound. Seamlessly getting you to float through every beat heard in the track, this remix builds so effortlessly to the point of climax and releases you gently into a state of deep house hypnosis.

Garden Groove Music welcomes Oliver Osborne, the Singaporean based DJ/Producer and founder of Eyes To The Front. On this serving of electronic music, Oliver Osborne’s Look for the Exit Sign EP offers a fresh dose of what’s happening in the South East Asian music scene. The EP has a stripped back and organic feel, using minimal parts while focusing on the key moments. It’s a look into how we from time to time stay in a situation too long because we fail to spot the early warning signs that tell us that things are not right.

The first track, Look For the Exit Sign, is an experiential production spotlighting electronic sounds seeping through the minimal explosion.

Concrete Comfort offers a temporary escape as the sonic journey relays what can happen when you let a situation go too far. 

Botswana based Tswex Malabola renders a very welcomed stripped down afro house remix to “Look For The Exit” with floating pads and a ear catching melody that seeps through like a freshly squeezed juice.

South Africa’s golden boy, The unsung hero that is Chronical Deep delivers a floor smacking Afro House/Tech rendition to “Look For The Exit Sign” and it’s testament to his consistent quality when it comes to being at the forefront of dance music.
