Nehli is an American producer currently based in Brazil who brings in his music a journey of electronic and organic sounds, exploring the exciting, melancholy, and beautiful tones of music. 

Mainly influenced by House, Techno, Jazz and R n B music, he's always searching for deep melodies and groovy beats. 

Having his productions released on labels such as Everything Will Be Ok, Hoomidaas, and Sirin and supports of names like Eelke Kleijn, Fernando Ferreyra and Eduardo McGregor.

We're launching a new Schirmchendrink chapter today and proudly present our first ever Fresh Download, "Head in a Hoodie", courtesy of Zurich/Lucerne-based electronic music duo Contenance & Miles Away. 

"Head in a Hoodie" has already picked up serious heat with the crowd when played across many venues in Switzerland over the last year. The hype around the track increased when Contenance & Miles Away used it in their delicious Schirmchendrink mix "Espresso Martini" early 2022. The amount of track ID requests around this track became so many that we had to finally release it. 

The story behind "Head in a Hoodie" is one of those lucky incidents: while working on the beat, the two musicians felt that something is missing. Looking for inspiration, the guys ended up looking at random videos on youtube, checking out vocals. Suddenly, Drake and Lil Baby's ‚"Yes Indeed", came up. When they played the vocals to the beat of their track it just made click. 

"We were amazed! It was like the vocals were made for our beat. It matched perfectly. It was just that particular missing piece we were looking for!" says Simon, one half of Contenance & Miles Away. Miro adds: "Being fans of the artists and the original song, there was no doubt that our track has just turned into an edit or rework, although this was never the intention before. We are really happy with the track and we‘re glad that we could combine our love for both hip hop and electronic music in this one."

Well, and we couldn't be happier to premiere our new Series on Fresh Download with this bomb!

Today we have @filmus with a stunning remix of a Greek electronic classic, "To Kyma".

‘’Το κύμα’’ (To Kyma) or “The wave” was a track produced by the famous Greek composer and lyricist Konstantino Vita (K.Bhta) and released in 2002 (belongs in the music album: “Gia sena me agapi”). 

"To Kyma" was a well-known staple in the in the electronic genre in Greece at the time and Filmus just gave it a modern twist!

Filmus is a music producer/ dj influenced by various electronic music scenes or wider art spaces. His artistic project tries to activate the feeling of relaxation through a musical journey while the rhythm of percussions gives the impetus for dance of body and soul.

In 2021 released his first official organic house/ downtempo track and since then he continues to create in a wider spectrum of electronic music area.
