Burning Man has always been my favorite place to DJ in the world. There's a certain feeling of freedom I experience playing music on the playa, and this feeling arises from the beauty of the physical surroundings, the enthusiasm of the people who wander onto the dance floor, and my own attitude that shapes how I approach my sets in the desert.

Artists such as Dapayk, YokoO, Madmotormiquel, Schlepp Geist, Jan Oberlaender, Pezzner have done remixes of his tracks. 


 Stimmhalt is an experienced artist, having performed with many well-known acts and has shared stage with Nicolas Jaar,Matthew Dekay, Apparat,Moderat, Robag Wruhme, Max Cooper, Jan Blomqvist, Dj Three, Andhim, Nuno Dos Santos and many more in Georgia X USA areas.

We’re excited to share this smooth discovery with you: Alex Hövelmann’s Tequila Sunset is silk for your ears as we need it to get through this Monday morning.

Alex Hövelmann, a producer, DJ an live act out of Cologne (Germany), started to the play the drums at the young age of four years. Today, his tracks get to be played by the likes of Acid Pauli at the famous festival in Nevada’s Black Rock Desert. 

Inspired by the music of Christian Löffler, Kollektiv Turmstrasse or Olaf Arnalds, Alex Hövelmann’s music let’s you dream and dance at the same time: spheric, melancholic and dynamic sounds that are sometimes driving, sometimes soothing. 

Alex got our first attention thanks to his wonderful Interpretation of Christian Löffler’s “Haul” a few months back. His most recent productions have been released on Heidentoc Rec, Eisenwaren and trndmsk. 

Besides producing music, Alex organizes events such as the Garten Eden Festival in his hometown Cologne.
