Based in Argentina, Nodo is a young, fresh talent who has an incredible ability to create these incredible tracks that are slow burners, combining beautiful elements of strings, melodies and musical arrangements that are sometimes melancholic, other times cheerful. And we love it. 
 
His releases can be found on labels such as Kindisch, Flug Lab, Keyfound and right here at home on Loot Recordings. He teamed up with Mule to release the Amistad EP with us in early 2020 and its a seductive affair of hazy deep house rhythms and gorgeous melodies. 
 
We’re very excited to feature him here on Loot Radio, and we’re all in for a special treat. This mix is one hour and nearly all of the tracks in here are original productions. Let’s turn up the volume and immerse ourselves with the sounds of Nodo. Here we go!

@joe-miller is an English-born beatmonger, influenced in equal measure by heaving clubs and the earthy melancholy of forests. He grew up in Australia, where he learned to craft sets that are whimsical and left-field, evoking a sense of place. 
Joe has released music on All Day I Dream and Bedrock (with Jamie Stevens), Dream Culture, Hoomidaas, Magician on Duty, Nie Wieder Schlafen, Sag & Tre and Traum Schallplatten. His tracks have been supported by Sasha, Guy J, Nick Warren, Mira and Atish.

As well as playing headline sets in Miami, New York, Saigon and Tokyo, Joe has crafted studio mixes for the Balance Series, Flow Sessions, DJ Mag and Deeper Sounds (streaming on British Airways and Emirates flights).

Soju is a popular Korean liquor made from rice. And it makes a heavenly Mojito, as Hyunji-A, a Korean-Canadian music producer, DJ and actress based in Montréal, shows with todays episode. 

Having been classically trained on the piano since the age of 4, she has developed an innate natural desire and passion to creating and appreciating music. She gravitate towards creating amotionally moving music, channeling that energy through melodies expressed in the genre of progressive and melodic house.

Caipi time! NYC based storyteller MUISCA presents an incredible Caipikiwi in this weeks Schirmchendrink episode!

MUISCA, or Sebastian with his real name, has been sharing and mixing his tunes through the world since he got his first MK2 back in Paris in 2003. Discovering nightlife at Le Palace in the late 90s and soon collecting vinyl's from Parisian stores like Katapult, Techno Import or Kitsuné, the original inspiration came from the Detroit Scene through Garnier's Rex residencies and the terrific Kill the DJ parties at le Pulp.

He has been behind the decks throughout Europe, Latin America and currently resides in New York City. As both a DJ and Amaya Mezcal Club Music Curator, he is well-equipped to take his audience on a unified journey of downtempo, melodic house with deep and dark transporting sounds.

The months of January and February did not feature in earlier versions of the Roman calendar, which divided the year into 10 months and left 61 days unaccounted for in the winter. They were added around 700 BCE.

January and February were initially the last months of the calendar year, which began in March (Martius). However, in 450 BCE, the beginning of the year was moved to January 1.

January originally consisted of 30 days when it was added to the 10-month Roman calendar. However, a day was added making it 31 days long in 46 BCE by Julius Caesar.

July was originally Quintilis, the fifth month of the year in the Roman calendar and consisted of 31 days. It was changed around 450 BCE when January became the first month of the year. Its name was changed during the Julian calendar reform in 45 BCE to honor Julius Caesar.

In modern times, July also has 31 days. It is the warmest month of the year in the Northern Hemisphere and coldest month in the Southern hemisphere.

The month of July starts on the same day of the week as April during common years and as January during leap years. July does not end on the same day of the week as any year in a common year but ends on the same day of the week as January in a leap year.
