I usually don't have much to say about my mixes and this time is no different. It's music from the softer spectrum of electronic dance music (I hate that this term is usually used to describe a very specific genre)recorded on a rainy midweek afternoon. I think it'll speak for itself if you allow it to do so.

After 4 years of sharing stories from all over the world, one artist has continued to be requested by our loving community, and we’re ecstatic to be able to welcome him to our Guest Mix Series.

@pablo-bolivar is one of the most well-respected artists around the world, and his label imprint @seven-villas-records has amassed a loyal following from all corners, consistently releasing thought-provoking music that speaks to the soul.

Today he’s taking us through his hometown, Cantabria, which boasts a unique combination of breathtaking coast, deep valleys, majestic mountains, fused with characterful seaside towns and tremendous historical riches, the perfect setting for an early morning story.

We are very excited to share with you @christianvoldstad's perception of Far Blue. Christian's mixes that have come straight from the Burning Man Playa, Sisyphos and many other places have intrigued us for years now, and we are proud to have him share his Far Blue concept with us. A real enthusiast of electronic music, blending a focus on the low end frequencies with a melodic, sometimes melancholic touch. This melancholic touch definitely comes out with this interpretation of Far Blue titled 'Lethe', recorded in NYC.

It's been about a year, the time felt right to make another Slinky mix. For those unfamiliar, this is a series of mixes I do occasionally, where tracks are intentionally stretched and slowed down. Transitions and overlaps are purposefully drawn out, the way these tracks slowly wind together becomes a point of focus, as opposed to an invisible, smooth transition. This mix evokes the passage of time, which has needless to say felt quite strange this year. Grains of sand in constant motion, always shifting and blowing, yielding a detailed pattern that just seems to repeat, and repeat, and repeat...
