Diogo (aka Yola) is a musician, producer and audio engineer. His career started early,as a band member and audio engineer atNa Cena’s studio in São Paulo.
In 2017, Diogo started his music project Yola, a tribute to the band ‘Yo La Tengo’. Yola believes that music is the manifestation of feelings, experiences and emotions and that, as everything is constantly changing, so is his music. A mix of organic sounds, groove,
feelings and introspection matched perfectly in the productions made so far.
In 2020, Yola debuted on the renowned German label Get Physical Music, with the single ‘Khulu’. This release was part of “Dixon’s Track IDs playlist on Spotify”
In 2022 we can expect a collection of releases, representing a snapshot of Yola’s past year.

Both Alex and his label had a standout year in 2021. Church also runs Configurations of Self and produces with James Welsh as Common Factors, so is well respected for his work in the underground. It takes in everything from IDM to breakbeat, techno to ambient and always with a signature sense of adventure and classy sound design.

His first outing of 2022 is another accomplished one. Masterfully melodic opener 'Intuniv' pairs curious synth sounds with crunchy percussion and bulky broken beats. It's music to take you into another dimension. 'Aripiprazole' is another hugely original track that goes deep into the cosmos. The drums are catchy broken beats once more, this time with sonorous bell hits ringing out into wide-open spaces. 'Rapid Cycling' remains on a deep space exploration with mysterious leads seducing as you travel on a playful bassline. Spoken-word vocals arrive through the clouds as if half-remembered from a dream and add to the psychedelic quality. Last of all, 'The Black Hole' wants you to move your body on the lithe bass and glowing keys. It's cosmic electronic funk rippled with pensive melodies and is another standout track from Church, this time welcoming back Canadian artist juSt b, with whom he collaborated in 2020, for a dark vocal narrative.

Intuniv’ is another fascinating EP from this always adventurous producer.

David Salow (David Sala) has been working in the field of electronic music since 1997. Much of his experience has been gained from feedback from the audience. He is a producer, DJ, label manager, music engineer, and member of some other musical projects.

Cette année, j’ai surtout consolidé ce que j’avais fait jusqu’ici.
J’ai repris tout ce que j’ai appris en traitement du son sur ordinateur pour revenir sur les morceaux créés quand j’étais exclusivement sur synthé.
Là, c’est le second set live que je publie.
L’exercice est un peu délicat : je pars d’un enregistrement en direct, mais la prise était de qualité suffisante pour me laisser une vraie marge de travail.
L’occasion de réécouter, de revivre des émotions anciennes, avec tous les souvenirs qui vont avec… et parfois un peu de doute et de douleur aussi.
Et de les partager.
