The fourth Applied Magic release comes courtesy of Komenda, two alluring Süßboys from the flatlands of the North German Plain.

All tracks are unique in their own little way, just like the minds that created them. A manifestation of the idea that art must constantly move forward, that there are still new ideas and uncharted territories out there. You just have to seek them out.

Tunno could be best described as the sound of a dying dial-up modem, sending stuttering morse code to the depths of interplanetary space. Reminiscent of 90s bleep sound, warped and filtered through a prism of contemporary, cutting edge dance music.Guaranteed goosebump material!

356 really has its own pulse. 5 to the floor, straight yet broken, an everchanging, perpetually repeating mantra that just sticks in your head and never leaves you again. An unlikely earworm if you just let it catch you.

French hypertalent INVŌKER's remix for Tunno takes the original and wraps it up in a warm and cozy blanket. Classic Detroit pads meet a colorful, almost Balearic sound design with the monochromatic, angular original melody still shining through, transporting it from outer space to outside - somewhere near the beach.

The whole package is topped off with an artwork by David Kochs, who is not only a singular producer and DJ but obviously a really good designer as well.

We are glad to welcome DJ and producer from Greece, director of Bloque Festival Jorgio Kioris on Polyptych. During his almost ten-year career, he has managed to release several dozen original tracks and remixes on labels such as BeatFreak Recordings, Juicebox Music, Movement Recordings, Replug, Outta Limits, ICONYC, Balkan Connection, and many others. Also, Jorgio has already been seen on Polyptych with a rather successful remix for the single "Flying" by Alexey Romeo. And now, he returns to us with the original release "Manifesto". Single in two versions, each of which reveals different facets of deep progressive house sound. Impregnated with melancholy harmonies and atmospheric pads, they make immerse yourself in the composition completely.
The release is backed by remixes from also prominent names in the Progressive House scene: East Cafe, Monograph, and Paul Sawyer.

Introducing 'Senescence' - A brand new collaboration with Rodskeez, out NOW via the Fables:001 compilation through Juicebox Music. This track is a slow-burning, progressive house builder, perfect for warm-up sets and bridging into peak-time music, with plenty of low-end and groove. 

As we move towards a new generation of legendary artists in the making, we take a look at some of the tales they'll be telling in the form of our new series on Juicebox Music - "Fables". Etching their mark in today's world with their unique & powerful style, these individuals have a special destiny waiting for them.

The first edition of "Fables" sees us visiting Argentina for the sounds of 'Agustin Pietrocola', 'Alan Cerra', 'Jesuan M', 'Pedro Belardo' & 'Unusual Soul', followed by a long journey north for the echos of Colombia by 'NuFects' & Mexico's 'David Podhel'. We then sail across the Pacific to listen to the songlines of the Australian brothers - 'Rodskeez' & 'Mars Monero' and then continue the passage into India to hear the mythical stories of 'Rudra' & 'Funksun'. A stopover across the border into Pakistan to witness the chronicles of 'STEREO MUNK' & 'Cryptic Realms' and finally flying over to Sweden for the Nordic folktale of 'EMPHI'. These are their Fables

Sincopat proudly welcomes back home Rafael Cerato with a new powerful and outstanding EP, this time the french maestro is joining forces with Kinky Sound, TouchTalk and Aves Volare. 

The EP also includes a remix by the label Big Kahuna AFFKT to round out the perfect equation.
Propaganda Machine is the masterful beginning of this futuristic & cinematic tale, an intense sonic adventure with powerful basses and a superb vocal by Aves Volare as a hallmark. 
On the remix duties, AFFKT delivers a magnificent remix that perfectly captures the essence of the original but bringing it into his own sonic universe.
We continue with another timeless piece of music called Attack, this one along Kinky Sound. An intense musical journey with clear influences to the 90s electronica but with an eye to the future in its forms.

And last but not least we have 9 0 9 , where Rafael Cerato joins forces with another talented team from Brazil called TouchTalk to deliver another bomb, pulsating percussive synths and effected vocals to close the EP in a magnificent way.

Hailing from the sunny south of Spain, a historic cradle of vanguard artists, German Brigante native of Malaga makes his way on the basis of talent and effort. These two qualities, are linked directly in the results of what we hear if we attend carefully what German offer us. To this maxims, we must add a musical culture linked to 80-90’s pop and hip-hop that from early age have influenced German.

Talking in terms of talent German Brigante has achieved a distinctive and unmistakable sound easily recognizable, capable of making him stand out. We also want to emphasize effort, a quality that together with the innate talent that this artist has, becomes the sum that gives rise to the authenticity tangible in every of Brigante’s beats.

These qualities, polished in long studio journeys, plus the love that artist professes to the electro and break-beat sounds in the likes of Prodigy, are the ingredients that have helped to configure the sound palette of this producer. That is why top labels such as Dirtybird, Exploited or Diynamic have released the works of German Brigante. All of these tracks, composed with myriad of details placed in the right time at the ideal moment, received the support of artists such as Solomun or Dixon.

Moving forward with the productions that have marked the discography of this artist, we must highlight the icing in the cake, his album Bipolar. Released on Get Physical Music, this work is an exercise in maturity through the 10 songs that complete the LP.

At this point of career, German has reached a total freedom in terms of creation. The main result of this is his own record label, Manitox. A place conceived since its inception as the ideal platform, where not only is it shown in the most personal way possible, with productions such as 'Marimba'. This is also the place where he is giving the opportunity to newcomers to show their skills. Artists,  in addition to already established names, that we will surely hear about them in the future.

We can not overlook his figure behind the decks because we are in front of a DJ that has already visited the five continents. From USA to Australia, with stops in South Africa, in each of these performances he has made clear his unique style and his connection with the crowd. Among all the places he has visited, we can affirm with no hesitation that Argentina and Brazil have been the countries where he most connected to the audience.

German Brigante | DHI | Mix

German Brigante delivers us a powerful four-track-EP where the Andalusian shapes his style, pushing his own productions until reaching unexplored limits. This new work entitled, ‘Sintetic Love’ shows an introspective journey where the infamous DJ and producer guides us respecting his unique and indistinguishable sound signature. Title cut, ‘Sintetic Love’ is a housey cinematic composition which opens with a phrenetic call and response between the inimitable 808 drum sound. A nice electro bassline is added playing an arpeggiated funky pattern while the detuned string adds a melancholic feeling. As the track evolves a female voice captivates the listener in an extremely well-built breakdown.

Next up, ‘Babylon’ is made for the 100% Brigante lovers. In this track you can feel the essence that is closely linked to German. With a pitched down voice, an electro bassline and multiple effects, this track is in a constant evolution offering great momentums.
As third track, ‘Somewhere’ is an ethnic one that offers a nice low end since its very first beats due to the 808 toms and kick drum. An ethereal voice makes a stunning appearance in certain moments of the composition.
Last but not least, ‘Take My Hands’ closes things in style with a clear four to the floor beat.
This cut drops a techno vision on Brigante’s eyes. Specially made for peak-time moments,‘Take My Hands’ is perfect for a magic closing as last track.
