SULEIMAN RECORDS is a Montreal boutique digital label founded by DJ/producer Darem Aissa. The name of the imprint pays homage to Syrian poet Suleiman Al-Aissa, one of the most prominent contemporary Arab poets.

The intent of SULEIMAN RECORDS and its vinyl-only sub-label AISSA RECORDS is to promote and produce positive, quality, underground electronic music. Taking influences from House, Techno and the many amalgamations in between, involving a diverse array of talented artists worldwide.

Jon Lee & Pattern Drama pair up with vocalist Hannah Noelle to bring you "When The Rain Comes" with remixes from Wesley Holmes & monotropa.

Pattern Drama: The debut release from Pattern Drama on Touch Of Class Records got rave reviews from major publishings throughout the underground dance music world. The project, which was born from the minds of Corey Baker and Rami Abousabe (Bedouin) is now in the hands of Corey to take on solo. Baker is no stranger to the spotlight when it comes to underground dance music. In 2011 he established and produced for the UK collective Wildkats which had international success on Labels like Hot Creations, Get Physical and Off Recordings amongst others.

Jon Lee: For over two decades, Jon Lee has influenced Seattle's house music scene, as one of the city's premier DJs, and through his involvement as founder and proprietor of area record shops & venues - including the legendary venue Vinylized, as well as Concepts, Seattle's first all-electronic music vinyl record shop, which opened in 1996. Jon also co-founded the storied, recently relaunched Tilted Records, Seattle's first deep house label in the 1990s, which featured releases by artists such as Brent Laurence, Wesley Holmes, DJ Ali, Miguel Migs, Marques Wyatt, Julius Papp, Jay J, and many others.

Hannah Noelle: Hannah blends influences of soul, R&B, pop and folk to create moving melodies that add a special element to electronic music records and live performances. Through collaborative expression, improvisation, and songwriting, Hannah brings deep, lifting vocals, and emotive harmonies to create opportunities for connection and dialogue for self-actualization. Hannah’s vocals have been featured on releases by the likes of Tim Engelhardt, David Orin, and Pattern Drama on top labels including Wolf + Lamb, Rebellion, All Day I Dream, and Still Vor Talent.

Wesley Holmes: Wesley Holmes has been integral in the Northwest’s DJ & dance community for the past 25+ years. He was a part of a core group that pioneered the house music scene in Seattle and helped provide a foundation for the thriving dance scene that transpires in Seattle today, through an extensive list of club/event productions, residencies, radio work, and behind the scenes efforts over the years. Wesley’s abilities behind the decks, musical depth, and outright love for underground music resonates through his infectious dj sets and mixes. Wesley’s current residencies with Flammable, and Upper Left keep him both on the front edge of the underground and in front of some of the largest electronic music audiences in the NW.

Feeling is at the center of experience. guiding decisions. coloring the world around us. bringing us closer to a deeper knowledge. and for monotropa., it is at the heart of creation and expression. channeling feelings sometimes shrouded from the artist himself, monotropa. layers and morphs sound to evoke these emotions to connect us all. Early in his life, music was at the center of expression and fun and as he got older, a realization of this infatuation and connection to a community united through sound brought him to a lifelong journey of musical creation.

From a very young age, Nicholas Rousseau aka Kola Papass (Trance) aka Niko Papass (House) was raised in the music festival industry, discovering all genre of music always keeping a preference for the emerging and underground music, the next trend that will evolve a style to his climax. He started his first band at the age of 13 being the main composer, playing rhythm guitar and back vocals. Moving to the great city of Montreal, he then discovered the electronic music in his 20's, where he realized that his band was now possible all through the medium of a computer.
In his production, Papass uses healing frequencies and sonotherapy techniques to support the calibration of chakras, which intensifies a trance-like, blissful, state on the dance-floor.

After almost 20 years touring the underground festivals, Papass is now recognized for his high vibe melodic sets often accompanied by live multi-instrumentists musicians from The Tribe adding to the electronic mix an amazing organic vibe that fusions everything that Papass loves about music. The best of the two worlds!

Papass as played alongside big names such as Desert Dwellers, Perfect Stranger, Broken Toy, Entheogenic, Govinda, David Starfire, Vibrasphere, Protonica, The Human Experience, Suduaya, FM Radio Gods and many others in events such as Cosmic Convergence (GUA), Eclipse Festival (CAN), Burning Man (USA), Papaya Playa (MEX), Piknic Electronik (CAN)and many others.
