'The young and talented Casablanca-based Artist, Raly delivers the fourth EP of Urge To Dance: Boredom

An EP which takes you out of the state of boredom and brings you to the dance-floor. The lead track is a beautiful trip, paying tribute to the French poet Charles Baudelaire and his book of poems 'Les Fleurs du mal ' with magical vocals by the French Artist Daniel Mesguich. Multiverse is an emotional melodic indie-breaks exploration that offers energizing kicks with optimistic & somehow dreamy synths.

On remix duties Dario Dea and Martin Deno deliver two compelling takes on the original tracks. Dario Dea's take on Boredom is a signature expression of his sound. Pulsating and catchy bass-line with playful synths evolve into a melodic peak-time indie explosion resulting in a truly exuberant remix. Martin Deno's remix of Multiverse is a darker exploration of raw and hypnotic techno filled with mysterious percussions and drums accompanying the emotional synth lead of the original track.'

Tash Movement Recordings opens the month of April by welcoming Alfonso Muchacho back to the label for a new EP. With a career that spans a decade, the UK artist found his footing early on, showcasing his music via long standing imprints such as Bonzai Records and Beatfreak Recordings, while progressive music tastemakers such as Hernan Cattaneo quickly took a liking to his dance floor minded creations. 2019 marked Alfonso's Movement Recordings debut in the form of the well-received 'Stranger Danger' EP. A bond with the label was nurtured going forward, with the London resident returning in 2020 with a powerful remix of Forniva's 'Tinkerbell'. Now as we enter 2022's second quarter, Alfonso returns to Movement with a three-track showcase 'Walk on Water', alongside a remix from Matias Chilano.

Rounding out the release are 'Diamond Hands' and 'What Had To Be Done' which find Alfonso delivering two progressive minded stompers. The former delights with its robust design, wavy groove and clever cosmic storyboarding. Sitting as an ideal complement to its predecessor, buoyant arps, ghostly vocal phrasing and a forest of detailed percussion precedes an emotive break, one where trance-inducing arps and glowing swells take centerstage, as a timely drop ushers in a colourful, kaleidoscopic finale.

Those who follow Talal know the London-based producer has built quite a discography. His eclectic take on production has granted him releases on renowned labels like Renaissance, Spectrum, and Bar 25. On another add-up to his catalog, the prolific artist joins Inner Shah with a 2-track EP inspired by his trip to Turkey.

On 14 Days in Istanbul, Talal explores two symbiotic tracks that emerge from his unique style and play in a similar environment to deliver divergent outcomes.

An extended arrangement leads the A-side, driving it on a melodic journey through organic percussions and vibrant atmospheres. Tight drums play with a rolling bassline to set a progressive tone and later give room to an idyllic break.

'Lights Out' complements the first track, taking off from common ground to reach a faraway destination. Unlike the other, it develops more straightforwardly keeping a sharper balance between energy and relaxation - a dualism that sounds like daydreaming.

Following up to his 2020-released sophomore album "Idiosynkrasia", Tim Engelhardt reemerges on Stil vor Talent with his new single, "Firestorm". Putting forth the widescreen poetic vision that has been flowing across his previous releases with an ever-fresh and adventurous approach, this Janus-faced new iteration from Tim fuses two distinct facets of the producer's output - one darker, more subdued, the other out-there and solar. 

Rolling hips with unabashed swagger, "Momentary" paves the way with a balanced mix of martial marching rhythms and floating keyboard melody tinged with a touch of Oriental chords. Slowly but surely hatching into a bespoke big-room churner as bars run by, the track offers moments of graceful escapism while steadily fanning the groove's flames so the fire doesn't go out, ever. Subtle yet grandiose, a piece of masterly executed electronics that definitely lacks no emotional power of agility. 

Draped in opaque shades of neo-classical harmonics, blazing with poignant violins, folk-pop-laced vocals and next-gen synth wizardry, the lead-track "Firestorm" oozes an ambiguous mix of dynamic strength and spiralling melancholy. The latest release from Tash's Movement Recordings finds the label presenting a new installment of its 'Technical Progress' series. Conceptualized in 2010 these various artist showcases have grown into one of the underground's most critically acclaimed series, continually featuring some of electronic music's most highly touted artists alongside talented newcomers. With the eleventh edition of the series landing in March of last year with resounding success, Movement Recordings now presents the much-anticipated twelfth installment featuring exclusive material from (in order of appearance): STEREO MUNK and Dublew, Janika Tenn and Robiin, Andrea Cassino, Lio Q and Nicolas Leonelli, Amir Telem and HEIZEN (ISR), Mayro and Abhishek.

Moving forward in the progressive spectrum, selection five finds Mayro making his label debut. Based in Argentina, Pablo Maneiro aka Mayro has been producing a blend of progressive house, deep and melodic house for the better part of a decade. World class DJs Cid Inc, Eelke Kleijn, Miss Monique and Nick Warren have all taken a liking to his sound, which has found a home on Lowbit, Siona Records and his own Traful imprint. Now adding Movement Recordings to his resume, Mayro debuts on the label with the groovy sounds of 'Panorama'. A dizzying dance floor creation powered by punchy kick drums, crunchy rhythms and psychedelic effects. Packed to the hilt with drama, its adventurous spirit is something Mayro relishes in, as he flexes a trippy side of his studio repertoire.

PREMIERE: Off Night — Fruition (Ten Walls Remix) [Protagonist Recordings]

A new talent adding his name to the Stil vor Talent history book and one bound to conquer even vaster crowds and territories in the coming months, Spanish up-and-comer Gespona lands his debut EP for us, "Kune". Comprising four expressions of his straight out addictive floor blends, hybridising the throbbing heat of bass-charged earworms and rhythms, Gespona delivers a strikingly mature maiden effort that makes the rounds betwixt epic-sized momentums and jam-packed club intimacy. 

Lighting up the path, the exhilarating "Akiris" (feat. NonReal) sets the tone with a magmatic fusion of rugged EBM jack, stealth subterranean vibes and callously sensual arpeggios on a mission, primed for whipping up a frenzy across all of the club's rooms. The further syncopated "Okazi" (feat. Amadori) deftly shifts through hi-intensity martial marching, back again in the now to better feel the fast-transporting nature of Gespona's sound. 

Title-track "Kune" goes for a more furtive approach, starting off like this season's umpteenth sub-bassy tech-house pumper, then rapidly morphing into an iron-and-steel body-jacker a la Woolford. All in distortions and FX-loaded wizardry, this is music to basically lose your sh*t to. Positively so. A team effort with Agustin Giri, "Rektaj" rounds off the parade with power and rage, deploying its menacing wings like a bloodthirsty vigilante in search for its next criminal prey. The result is a synth-splashed, hard-hitting churner designed to pace the streets of Gotham at fierce, breakneck rate.
