✔️ What are your musical influences? What is your musical background?

My musical influences started in the 80s and eventually I started djing in different clubs back then.
My style I would say is very experimental I like to play different genres of music in a mix:
This can range from Indie Dance and Organic House to Progressive.
But my favourite music genre I would see in the electronic area ... i.e. Indie Dance, Dark Disco and Melodic House.

✔️ What do you think makes a good afterhour?
An afterhour can take place anywhere, as long as people are having fun and the right music is playing.
From a chill sound to a harder beat ... ... that's how you can still step on the gas even at a late hour.

✔️ What thoughts would you like to share with us about your mix?

First of all, I'm very honoured to do a mix for your site ..... I think you have a very diverse selection of mixes on your site. I'm very happy to be able to present my exclusive mix here, and I hope people enjoy my mix.

💿 Eine herzliche Bekanntschaft 💿

💭 Sofia Calop lernten wir während unserer KataHaifisch Mexiko Reise kennen. Sie war unsere Ansprechpartnerin in Puebla und verantwortlich für die Organisation unseres KataHaifisch-Showcases im Diente de Leon. Unser Kennenlernen und die Preparty zelebrierten wir mit einem gemeinsamen Umtrunk.  Dabei stellte sich heraus, dass Sofia für einige Zeit in Deutschland gelebt und studiert hatte. Wir verließen die Bar und Sofia bot uns an, uns mit dem Auto zum Club zu fahren. Im Diente de Leon wurden wir herzlich empfangen und genossen vorerst das warm-up Set von Sofia. An diesem Abend gab sie, für ihre Live-Auftritte eher ungewöhnlich, Afro House und Indie Dance zum besten. Danach übernahm Nico und den Abschluss spielte Case. Nach dem Showcase bracht uns Sofia sicher mit dem Auto zurück ins Hostel und wir alle waren um eine tolle Erfahrung und schöne Bekanntschaft reicher.


🎵 In diesem Podcast präsentiert uns Sofia ihre technoide und treibende Facette. Dieses 51 minütige Set enthält dabei sowohl Techno-Klassiker als auch neuere Werke. Hier wird Energie in akustischer Form dargeboten und einladend-fesselnd gemixt. Dieses Set spiegelt auch ein stückweit Sofias Persönlichkeit wider: gut gelaunt, sportlich unterwegs und immer für einen guten Joke zu haben. Wir sind sehr dankbar Sofia kennengelernt zu haben und denken gerne an diese schöne Zeit in Puebla und Mexiko zurück.
