I’m on the road and as usual you will get a Travelcast from me. This time I made the journey to Nepal to hike to Mt. Everest Base Camp. What an epic trip it was !! The views, nature and culture was just so different to what I’m used to. I had so much fun. 𝗘𝗽𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗱𝗲 𝟯𝟱 Welcomes the very talented 𝗩𝗟𝗞𝗡 (𝗮𝗸𝗮 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝗸𝗮𝗻) from Istanbul, Turkey.

Istanbul-based VLKN (aka Volkan) first got into electronic music as a teenager. In 2003, he first got behind the decks, and still prefers spinning vinyl to this day. His passion for music leads him inevitably to the production side, with his 2021 EP “Senses” released on schallmauer_records. In addition to numerous guest mix invitations, VLKN curates an excellent regular SoundCloud podcast, “Analog Sessions”. On his podcasts on Soundcloud you can see that VLKN is a storyteller, but the story is in the form of music. You can feel the book changing pages and the bpm getting on the dance floor. His stories usually have a happy ending, which will make you listen to them more.
