BIO:
"Underspreche are the Italian duo of Marika Della Torre and Simone Campanile. Together they produce music that deftly balances emotion and multiple world influences with a tougher edge dedicated to the dancefloor. It’s easy to hear the diverse background both members have grown from in their music. Simone, a seasoned DJ and music collector for over 20 years also studied music theory with a particular emphasis on African and Indian methods of composition. Marika, raised on a diet of classical and opera music has always possessed a deep love for singing, writing and poetry. When the pair met over 10 years ago an immediate bond was formed and Underspreche was born.

For live performances Underspreche deliver what they call a hybrid set, a marriage of live synthesis and vocals with the backbone of DJing resulting in a unique and often mesmerizing experience. Always committed and honest in their approach to what they do, Underspreche are pure talent in today’s electronic music landscape."

It describes totally our approach to music with experimentation on beat which is not in 4/4 and lots of emotions and pathos with that sample from Madagascar woman in the middle and the poetry which talks about a personal story. This song is about how the music’s poetry can “ease” certain pains turning them into something unique."

There is no box into which you must fit in because you are free in your mind to do whatever you love. Being real, being authentc, being a full tme music lover. That means: go to bed and wake up with only music in your head. About the mix, oh... a bit difficult to write about. I mean its a studio mix, so its different from live mixes which I'm performing in the clubs, so usually a bit slower and more focus on storytelling than clubbing/peak time. So the mix is about my current favourites, tracks from my label and some of my upcoming album tracks.

Nothing beats the real thing. It’s natural. It’s emotional. It’s visceral. So for our 2nd installment of Anomaly Live, we have co-founder @nickberrry's verbatim set from Sisyphos. Blissful melodies spun with punchy dance tracks both delighted and illuminated revelers as the sun set over the Sisyphos beach stage. Three hours of recorded fantasy; the next best thing to reality.

Words from Nick:

The Anomaly takeover at Sisyphos was nothing short of a dream. The sun was shining, it was 30 degrees and there were upwards of 500 revellers on the dance floor getting lost in the music. After hearing 10 hours of fabulous tunes by Skatman, Panthera Krause, Harry Hooper, it was time for me to take charge from 4pm - 7pm on the Beach stage and boy oh boy was the pressure on. As Panthera and Harry had been serving the crowd with a constant flow of enticing indie dance, house and techno tunes, I thought that perhaps it was time to reset the vibe and get the crowd ready for the one and only David Mayer. The plan was to bring down the tempo for a few tracks and build the crowd’s energy back up again, ever so gradually. This was incredibly nerve racking as I’d never experienced a more up for it and energetic audience. The risk soon turned into a reward, as I was able to take the crowd with me on a 3 hour journey, sharing the sounds that I feel embody the Anomaly experience. I am incredibly thankful to the artists that took part and the venue for giving us the time and space to share our music. Highlights of the set include tracks from Kraftwerk, Fatima Yamaha, Kollektiv Turmstrasse, Keinemusik, Alican, Chloe Calliet, Trikk & Frank Weidemann, Ivory, Laolu and more.

SVT–Podcast130 – Kadosh

Thomas and Julien are Dutch brothers from South of France. They propose either a DJ or live act mixing several genres whilst keeping a groovy, melodic and emotive edge.

Passionates in organic music, they put out their own "A Day At" videos showing organic production and live performances through field recordings. They also created "A Day In” which translates cultures through field recordings and collaborations with local and traditional musicians. They already have concluded first collaborations with Gnawa musicians in Morocco and Huichol tribe musicians in Mexico.
With release on Crosstown Rebels, Sapiens, Bar 25 and their own imprint, Klassified Records, the two brothers also run The House of Klassified in Amsterdam and the Klassified Music Festival in South of France.
