Sie zerrinnt sekündlich und man hat nie genug, dennoch ist sie unendlich... die Zeit. Sie wird einem gegeben und genommen, dreht sich im Kreis und läuft doch immer vorwärts, ist im selben Moment unerträglich lang und dennoch verfliegt viel zu schnell. Sie bestimmt unser Leben und ist doch ein mysteriöses Ding.
Viele Eigenschaften der Zeit treffen auch auf unsere neue EP „Mystery“ zu. Von dieser EP kann man auch nicht genug bekommen und die Tracks scheinen im ersten Moment sehr lang zu sein. Vor allem der Original Mix vom Düsseldorfer Tim Kollberg nimmt sich Zeit, um die Intensität behutsam aufzubauen und beständig steigen zu lassen. Dennoch ist der Hörgenuss gefühlt zu schnell wieder vorbei, da die einzelnen Elemente perfekt aufeinander abgestimmt sind und es im Arrangement ständig etwas Neues zu entdecken gibt. Genau dort setzt auch der Remix von Yeröm an. Die Essenz des Originals bleibt erhalten und gleichzeitig werden die prägenden Synth Elemente und Drums so abgewandelt, dass fließend Abwechslung entsteht und der Track eine völlig neue Dimension erhält. Fast so als wäre er das Abbild des Originals aus einem Paralleluniversum.

Next up is the remix by Madrid-based artist Ian Ludvig.  
He has made an incredible remix with his dark notes, which raises the intensity while still maintaining an energetic, electronic state, something very common in Ian Ludvig's work.
His haunting remix blurs the line between techno and melodic house and will no doubt capture the attention of many.

The EP's balance of emotion and energy is executed to perfection and we couldn't be happier with this set of tracks to complete this release.

About the release
Drunken footsteps lead across the wet pavement of the big city towards a nondescript steel door in some nondescript brick wall. Its rhythmic rattle is a Good Omen. Behind it, we encounter alien pleasures, a steadily morphing sequence of sensory input unfolding amidst the coloured lights between the speaker membranes and the surface of our consciousness. Bebetta and Los Cabra send us on a parabolic flight in the depth of their soundscape, bath us in an intense emotional flow with their hard and compelling groove, employ their tripped-out psychoacoustic tricks to defragment our minds and to subsequently rebuild them into something beautiful and new.

PREMIERE: Ornery, Michael Ritter - Doppeldecker [Grey Bar Hotel]

Looking towards the year's final chapter, SLC-6 Music unveils new interpretations of Doriaan's 'Spinning Webs'. 

Originally released as part of the label's popular 'SIX: Stage-10' collection from 2021, it saw the Mexican artist deliver one of his finest tracks of the year. Doriaan's timeless melodic narrative and tough, room-rocking framework made for some magical dancefloor moments across 2021's final quarter. 

Now, looking to breathe new life into the track for the winter season, SLC-6 Music calls upon Nicolas Benedetti and Shayan Pasha to provide their own unique versions. Returning to the label for the first interpretation is Argentinean artist Nicolas Benedetti. The Buenos Aires resident aims squarely at a peak-time dance floor with big muscular grooves, firing percussion, and jangly melodies, the latter of which makes for a break which is equal parts emotive and tense.

Martini aka Soul Alchemist started producing techno in 2015. In the same year the artist received an opportunity to work abroad where he played in many venues in China, Philippines and Malaysia, where he got invited to participate in a Mixmag edition and do the warm up for the renowned Malayan name RaySoo (Love International). Still in Malaysia, Soul Alchemist had the opportunity to play at Elysium Hotel, where master duo Hunter/Game played weeks later. After this trip, Martini alongside some of his friends created Tiosam Music, a nucleus composed by producers from Florianopolis and Balneário Camboriú. Musically wise his productions display melancholic melodies, driving basslines, and huge brasses. His sets will vary from progressive house and melodic techno. Soul Alchemist latest releases were featured on Arkhamra and Us and Them and has received big support from østill (Afterlife), SOEL (Afterlife), Erly Tepshi (Black Rose), Paulo Foltz (Prisma), and many more.
