KataHaifisch - Chapter 1° - Jungle Journey

KataHaifisch was founded in 2015 as an online Podcastseries. Now, after six years they are going to release their first own Record. Jungle Journey is an “Various Artist“ Compilation. 15 well selected Artists combine their talents on one Record. 11 unique Songs will guide you on a trip through the jungle. While you dive deaper and deaper into the rain forest you can hear and feel the cosy Downtempo vibes. You will experience the organic sounds as rain drops leaving a shiver on your skin. When you close your eyes the hypnotic melodys will show you wild spirits and crazy animals, as you have never seen before. Rhythmic percussions and drums will raise your heartbeat like hunting with Tigers would. Completed with the voice of nature as free as your mind after listening to this Jungle Journey and first release by KataHaifisch.

Following the albums "Lessons In Dub" (2012) and "Kontrollverlust" (2017) Leipzig based DJ and producer Marc DePulse now presents his 3rd artist album: Together Alone

The album title reflects the global sentiments surrounding the last two years while being confined indoors. It plays with the opposites of togetherness and aloneness. Being socially distanced during lockdown at home while all together stuck in the same situation individual aloneness was experienced as a collectively felt togetherness.

Therefore the idea behind Together Alone was engaging highly respected artists and friends from all over the planet for a collaborative project which Marc DePulse describes as "a colored box full of high-quality standards and with a lot of great stories inside".

Woven between the intro "Allein" (eng. alone) and the outro "Zusammen" (eng. together) the album captures stories of collectively felt emotions elicited by the pandemic.

The 13 tracks by 12 different artists highlight that despite all hardships we are never alone. This phenomena is represented by track 8 called ZIMWA, derived from the German sentence "Zusammen ist man weniger allein" (eng. Together you are less alone).

For the collaborative LP the artists got virtually together into the studio with Marc DePulse, exchanging stems, sharing parts, making video calls, chatting – simply doing things that were possible during the lockdown period.

Together Alone contains music from club to Easy Listening, from EBM to Breaks, from Pop to Tech – music to remember and heartfelt messages that will not be forgotten so fast.

We're all in this together. Not alone.

After the successful  ¨Other Side¨ EP, we are happy to greet Aiwaska back on Bar 25 Music for the new release ¨Live Tonight¨. Being recognized not only for the mask of a Perunian shamans that help him to keep a mystery but for the numerous collaborations with famous vocalists, Aiwaska stayed true to himself. This time record was made together with another living legend — Roland Clark.

Roland Clark is known as House Music's songsmith, producer, deejay, and vocalist, all in one Some of Roland’s early recordings helped to define the underground house scene in NYC in the 90s. His latest alter ego Jesus Jackson pegged the 3rd season opening of the show Grey's Anatomy with his song "Running On Sunshine." Apart from the underground House scene, you may have heard Clark’s voice on Katy Perry’s hit “Swish Swish” out on Universal Music.

For the release, Aiwaska and Roland Clark have prepared not one but three versions of the track: Original Mix comes with After Hours Version, Night Version which will be released on Bandcamp exclusively. A cherry on top is a remix by Mihai Popoviciu — Romanian producer with tons of releases on various respected pallets like Bondage, Highgrade, Poker Flat, Bedrock, Dessous and many others behind his back.

Renowned Colombian producer Kamilo Sanclemente @kamilosanclemente , a key figure in contemporary Progressive House, presents “Astronauts Nightmares / Destination (Remixes)” on Univack — a powerful release featuring three unique reinterpretations of his original tracks. Three distinct sonic visions reimagine Kamilo’s cosmic and melodic landscapes from complementary and personal perspectives.

Veteran Maltese artist DJ Ruby @djruby takes “Astronauts Nightmares” into an acid-driven, epic terrain — perfect for peak-time moments on the dancefloor.
