We're pleased to announce Deep House Space 105, recorded live at The BucketList (Bondi, Sydney) on the 10th Feb 2017, joining the forces of Ricky Cooper and Andy Ef. Ricky, who has featured on DHS three times already, is Australia's best-loved festival promoter by day and a freaking great DJ by night. Andy Ef is a regular on the Sydney circuit playing some of Australia's biggest festivals.

About Ricky Cooper (DJ Tricky)

As the head-honcho of Return to Rio, Ricky is responsible for creating all the magic and mayhem that has made this annual shindig quite unlike anything other, in the land down under. Billed as the 'ultimate weekend away' and now in it's 5th year, this dance music extravaganza counts the likes of Dixon and Carl Cox as its biggest fans following marathon sets at the event. Other appearances and Rio residents over the years have included LTJ Bukem, Mr C, DJ EZ, The Cuban Brothers, Mano Le Tough, M.A.N.D.Y. and Atish. 

With such a loyal festival following, Ricky was invited to be part of Australia's biggest touring one-day festival Electric Gardens from day one. Hosting a dedicated Return to Rio stage in Sydney with top-notch talent like Jamie Jones, Sasha, Pachanga Boys, Norman Jay and more, it has already established itself as the place to be. 

Not content with putting on some of the best parties in Sydney and beyond, Ricky is respected behind the decks by party people around the globe too.  With a penchant for deep house, techno and old skool classics, expect to hear his signature sound of big basslines and dreamy melodies on the dance floor. With an unrivaled tune selection, Ricky pushes musical boundaries and has produced tracks alongside Mike Koglin and Funk D’Void. 

Born and bred in the UK, Cooper has an international reputation from his stints behind the decks worldwide. Having launched the exclusive Homegrown parties throughout the UK and Europe, Ricky became a familiar face on the wheels of steel at London’s End nightclub & The Cross, among others. In Portugal, Ricky Cooper A.K.A DJ Tricky was resident at Club de Baia where people would travel from afar to attend such extraordinary nights. In addition to this, he annually graced the decks for the World Snowboarding Championships, Hit the Gap, in Italy and counts A-listers Kate Moss and Jade Jagger as fans, once flying him to L.A. to play for one of their exclusive parties.  

Another career highlight from his DJing escapades stateside is a set at Burning Man where he put on one heck of a party with Lee Burridge, Lee Foss and Soul Clap. 

Closer to home, Ricky Cooper dominated Australia’s most infamous super club, Home, in its prime, for six years, his deep house journeys becoming the stuff of legend. Today, he's a regular on the scene, performing across Australia for Circo Loco, S*A*S*H, Subsonic and more. 
On the airwaves, you can catch him on Bondi Radio every Friday night from 5pm AEST, broadcast live from the world's most famous beach.

About Andy Ef

Originally from Cairo, Egypt. Andy Ef has been a regular on the Sydney scene for a couple of years now, with appearances at Electric Gardens, Return To Rio, Blueprint, S.A.S.H, We Love, Night Groove and more he's fast becoming a Sydney favourite for his dreamy progressive driving track choices and skill at mixing them together seamlessly as if there was no start or end to a track.

No stranger to the electronic music scene, signing his first release at 18 years old to “Acute Recordings, US” in 2006 and subsequently winning a remix competition which was hosted by “Bellarine Recordings, AU” in 2007. His style is characterised by a warm, driven, deep and atmospheric sound.

I can't believe it's been 10 weeks and this is the 10th live mix that I've uploaded. I think I've improved a lot of these past two and a half months - and there's a lot of room for more improvement. This mix channels the spirit of my favorite noises and features a bunch of my favorite artists.
