It was a hot summer day in the south of France, the kind that feels endless, but in a very sweaty type of way.

Family Piknik has been a cornerstone of the European scene for over a decade, bringing together world-class artists and a crowd that truly understands what this culture is about.

I was honored to curate this stage for the festival and bring the SXM Festival family with me.
Nicolas Masseyeff, Kadosh, Magit Cacoon, Manti, and Sinca all shared the decks that day, each of them adding their own spark to a perfect flow of energy from start to finish.

The vibe was pure connection, smiles, sun, sweat, and that beautiful sense of freedom that only happens when the right people meet at the right place.

We closed it all with a spontaneous back-to-back between everyone, turning the stage into a real celebration of friendship and music or should I say, family ;)

Definitely one of the summer’s highlights.

Each year, Sounds of Khemit opens a new chapter in its mythological journey. Following in the footsteps of Osiris and Medjed, we now call upon Khonsu—the ancient Egyptian god of the moon, time, and travel. Known as the Wanderer, Khonsu embodies movement and transformation. He governs the passage of time, the cycles of night and day, and the unseen energies that guide us through transition. As a lunar deity, he illuminates the darkness not with blinding force, but with subtle radiance—inviting exploration, introspection, and timeless rhythm.

A compilation that travels across the vast landscape of deep house, melodic house, and indie dance, weaving together artists who channel movement, change, and inner light. Khonsu was also a protector of travelers, a guide through the unknown. In the same way, SoK042 becomes more than a compilation—it’s a sonic companion for wanderers of the night, for dancers in motion, for seekers of meaning through sound. With Khonsu as our host, we honor time’s endless cycles, the pulse of the cosmos, and the eternal dance between light and shadow.

This compilation is a tribute to the children who have lost —and continue to lose— their lives to war, hunger, poverty, and inequality. It is also a gesture of gratitude: while some of us are able to live our childhood dreams, millions of children will never have that chance.

The project began with an original track by Bodaishin & Lupe Republic, composed more than two years ago. Eight artists from different corners of the world offered to reinterpret it, working with the same stems but translating them into unique emotions, processes, and perspectives. The result: 10 diverse interpretations, united by one message.

With the support of Proton, 100% of the profits from this compilation will be donated to Doctors Without Borders, directly contributing to their humanitarian work in the most affected areas.

For the thirtieth release, Aftertech Records did something very special!
In this release 11 artists come together in one amazing compilation. 
Some of their best tracks from previous releases were chosen to be remixed. 
As a family, they came together and each artist remixed their favourite track from the last years.

Frezel - Get Serious (Ariose Remix) 
Ariose is a Scottish duo that is working hard to breach the scene wide open with their unique sound. It is deep but danceable, and that is exactly what they made of Get Serious. In the introduction, they left the melody of Frezel quite intact. 
But then, after a break with an uplifting bassline, they come loose. The groove is on and they only bring you further into the track with smartly placed special effects and sweet and breathtaking synths. A brilliant remix!
