Italian melody makers Modular Project reveal their debut EP, a nature-dubbed and organic five track effort merging tech house and electronica.

The endeavor kicks off with the nostalgy laden yet upbeat “Leaf”, whose steady bassline gives leeway to a dreamy developing, synth lined harmony. Aptly entitled “Into The Woods”, the second track goes into deep territory via distorted synths, a wave-reminiscent element that remains its central focus til the very last sequence. The woodlandish journey fully unfolds at the third track, a contrastingly darker cut, filled with modular piano bits completed by arpeggiated synths. The title track gets a dubby makeover from Permanent Vacation’s Benjamin Fröhlich who plays upon the nostalgic synth line, turning it into a peak time drama by adding squirmish crowd vocals. Konvex and The Shadow take on a less dramatic, but equally serious approach, stripping off some synths but adding oscillating bleeps and lower pitched drums for extra gravitas.

French artist Max Duke released the first vinyl release on Redlight Music back on September 2012. 
Since then he has become one of the most prolific artists of the Berlin based label Redlight Music. 
While he has being releasing music also in some other labels such Shaker Plates, Atmosphere Records, in his own Work & Consume or in the German power house Diynamic Music, as part of the trio ‘Art Is A Consequence’.

Here comes again Max Duke with ‘Animals”. 
A beautiful Deep House / Electronica piece with organic synthesizers melodies, shiny percussion, strong bass lines and messy vocal samplers. Far from his groovy House past sound, the french artist has developed his touch into a much more complete electronic sound. Going here full circle with this ‘Animals’, which is the first single of his forthcoming album on Redlight.

Releasing his debut EP on Nie Wieder Schlafen last December, the french artist is boating a huge remix with atmospheric touch and a cut of analog sounds and a dancy beatlines.

Catalogue #21 of Berlin based and Andre Lodemann run label Best Works Records comes from Spanish producer Luis Junior, who delivers two original cuts, '2db2' and 'Ipsum', while the latter gets the remix treatment from label honcho Andre Lodemann & Fabian Dikhof and Italian in-demand-duo Stereocalypse. Enrico de Vecchi and Andrea Doria alias Stereocalypse have been responsible for some of the most tremendous club hits in the recent past. First the duo remixed 'I Don't Know' by WhoMadeWho last year, while this year 'Blue Dome Escargot' was released on Innervisions' 'Secret Weapon, Pt. 10'. Now Enrico and Andrea come up with another potential hit as their remix for Luis Junior got all the ingredients that it takes to be leave a remarkable impression on dance floors. Starting off with wobbling synth chords that accompany the listener throught the first part in various tonalities Stereocalypse then include the hunting vocal from the original, enhance it and make it sound like a regular sound-element of the track. The remix then bundles its synergies to hit dancing heads and headphone enthuasiasts with an inclusion of the slighty changed synth-chords from the original that add both to the track: pace and a  ravey touch. Latter peaks when the dry yet groovy bassline and the aforementioned synth-melodies are added some piercing synth that seem to have arrived from 'Another Earth'. With their remix for 'Ipsum' Stereocalypse remind its listeneres of the beauty of well-chosen tonalities in combination with a pure and raw bassline. 

Luis Junior's EP 'Ipsum' will be released May 4th, 2018 on Best Works Records.

Our favourite Canadian producer @simondoty is back on Einmusika with a brand new EP. Filling the Blanks EP has Doty's signature sound written all over it. Heavy bass lines, strong kicks and epic soundscapes that make every track Simon creates unique. For the title track 'Fever' he collaborated together with one of our favorite electronic music vocalists - Haptic to create a dance floor filler. On 'Filling the Blanks' Simon worked together with the Egyptian Zein, a collab that never seems to disappoint. The last track on the EP, 'Continuum', seals the deal.

Get Physical revisit M.A.N.D.Y.’s ‘Tomorrow Is Another Night’ this July with remixes from Ben Pearce, Anthony Middleton and Stereocalypse.

Following on from the ‘Double Fantasy’ LP in 2016, M.A.N.D.Y.’s Patrick teamed up with Dubspeeka to rework the entire project, providing dance floor focused alternate cuts from the album. The past year has seen these interpretation’s steadily hitting clubs across the globe and here the label widens the scope to offer up other takes from some esteemed producers.

First up is Anthony Middleton’s ‘Mandoses Sunrise Remix’ which focuses on brooding atmospherics, bubbling arpeggio licks and shuffled drums before the Stereocalypse remix strips things back to sweeping string swells, plucked synth melodies and an amalgamation of chugging bass lines.

Ben Pearce steps up next with his take on ‘Tomorrow Is Another Night’ and the UK artist extracts the airy atmospheric elements from the original and stirring them in alongside lumpy percussion and subtly unfolding swells. The (Rework) version then closes the package, showcasing Patrick and Dubspeeka’s collaborative work
perfectly with a high-octane take on the original.

The French phrase “Enfant terrible" refers to a young genius who is very unorthodox. Their behavior, work or mere thought induces shock in bystanders. A Canadian label by the same title, L’enfant terrible, now presents a truly awe-inspiring release! Originally produced by In2Deep and Luis Leon, “Blue Ridge” illustrates its mountainous namesake. A pair of remixes thus emerges from the cerulean haze. Closing things out, Artphorm provides a thought-provoking view of the title track. Thick atmos, echoic instrumentals and offset beats act as a catalyst for listeners’ consciousness.
