Tim Andresen is the founder and label owner of What Happens and co-owner of Savoir Faire Musique. He is also the co-owner of Culture Box widely regarded Denmark’s leading electronic music venue. But what really brought him to the limelight was his consistent output of production and DJ sets.
Driven by the moments of inspiration, Tim follows his dreams through talent and hard work. Roh und unerbittlich hämmern die Wellen gegen die Klippen. Ohne jeden Anschein von Müdigkeit rollen sie auf die Küste zu und waschen den Fels rein. Sie sind die Vorboten des nahenden Dramas, welches Schon bald über die Region hereinbrechen wird. Doch noch ist Zeit und während alle Anderen Vorkehrungen treffen, starre ich wie paralysiert hinaus auf Meer. Stundenlang beobachte ich das chaotische Treiben. Wie immer habe ich das Gefühl, dass mir der ewige Meister eine Lektion erteilen möchte. Fest entschlossen dieses Mal das Geheimnis Poseidons zu entschlüsseln, habe ich die das kühle Nass fest im Blick. Rhythmisch und unkontrolliert erstürmen die Wellen weiter, das vom Menschen zeitweise eingenommene Gebiet und weisen die Krone der Schöpfung in ihre Schranken. Nur ich halte weiter einsam die Stellung und lasse mir die Gischt ins Gesicht wehen. Bis sich die Stimme der Vernunft meldet und altklug verkündet „ Es wird Zeit“.

Erlebt mit Moonbootica eine Stunde purer Ekstase und lasst euch von ihm mitreißen in eine Welt der Beats und Melodien.Gekonnt umschifft er mit euch die Untiefen und nimmt euch mit hinaus auf den unendlichen Ozean.

Currently residing in the North East, UK, Rory has been DJing for over 20 years. His early influences were the U.S. west coast House scene, in particular the early Naked Music vibe, Dubtribe Sound System, Miguel Migs, Rasoul, Andy Caldwell, JT Donaldson & Lance Desardi. 

More of Rory’s influences include the likes of Calum Walker, Brendan Costigane, Jimpster, Charles Webster, Vincenzo, DJ Ino, Seph, Steven Garcia, Schmoov and Crazy P....you can see it’s an eclectic bag. 

This distinctive sound and its influence is obvious when you hear Rory work a crowd in that individual and unique way that he has made his own by giving you that characteristic Cochrane deep house therapy. 

Rory has performed at some of the North East UK’s most prestigious and loved venues over the years, joints such as Stereo Bar, Tokyo Bar, To The Manor Born, The Loveboat, The Purple Onion, Cosmic Ballroom, Distrikt Bar & The Faversham down in Leeds to name a few.

His passion for Deep House music makes his sound very current. Rory is now running quality labels such as Deep Site Digital & Deep Site Vinylized along with Croatian DJ/producer and good friend Tom Krizic (DJ Funtom). Rory is also working on some interesting production projects of his own, which have meant remixes and a sweet original track with vocalist Sanna Hartfield 'Focus' on Addex’ label Limitation Music. Other remixes also on labels Oh! Stockholm, Deep Stitched..South Africa, The Purr Music, Sound Vessel Records, Be Adult Music, Personal Belongings, UM Records as well as Deep Site

Over the last few years he has played internationally in Croatia, South Africa, Ibiza, Prague and Sao Paulo, Brazil where Rory performed at world famous club 'D-Edge' club  for FREAK CHIC...and more recently back from Barcelona where he performed at the legendary Puro Beach and Tulum Mexico, where he opened Lost Tribes @ Vagalume as well as warming the dance floor for international artist ‘Los Cabra' @ Aguva Rooftop.
