Mëhill returns to Surrrealism with his new EP "Eshu's Son".
The Mexican talent shows off his musical versatility with a work of 3-tracks, under his particular style of eclectic and avant-garde sounds.

"Dragons" is the beginning of this hypnotic path. Mëhill returns to delight us with sounds taken from the underworld. As if they were alien conversations, the synthesizers begin to emit signals of intrigue and mystery.

"Into The Abyss" is the continuation of the psychophony. We reach the end of the hypnosis with a track of happier tones. A peaceful melody riding on a forceful bass drum to make us enjoy the swaying rhythm. Back to Earth, we hope you enjoyed this space trip.

"Fever" closes the communication. Under a dynamic and incessant rhythm, the
Mexican artist continues to emit interspatial sounds. The intensity of the signal is elevated in an attempt to seek an alien response. Is anyone there? Mëhill to the device.

Cover by Nuria Baena. The artist captures the moment when the sky and the earth come together under the watchful eye of the moon to unleash the majestic process of evolution. Countless physical and chemical laws interacting with living beings under an imposing environment result in what we are today. The term "Eshu" means "sphere", and represents infinity, permanent movement.

Techno & house music producer, Bonïpso has been passionate about music from an early age. Based in Marseille(France), he first discovered electronic music when he was 15 and started digging for new releases to feed his craving for the perfect sound. At 25, he finally built a small home studio, composed his first tracks — mixing electronica, melodic house, and techno — and signed his first EPs on various labels. Productive and successful!

The second track, ‘Neo’’, uses hypnotic vocals and mixes raw kicks, electric synth loops, melodic layers, and powerful drums. 

Neo takes us on a true journey to futuristic vistas! In addition to those two great original tracks, two remixes are yours to discover.

Dan Baber, another great Australian DJ, and producer, with a 2-decade musical career, signs the remix of ‘Neo. Internationally known for his signature space jazz techno style, he offers a more downtempo and aerial journey on this track. Baber’s remix of ‘Neo will put you in a sweet and trance-like musical state with heady vocals chanting, ‘we are all connected, like tides around the world.

"Another special release on Chrom: the first EP of our own label manager Pedro Mercado since the pandemic started! With this old school acid inspired collab called "Our Revolution" together with Phi-Phi, a living legend in Belgium, Pedro realises one of his childhood dreams.

French DJ and producer Phi-Phi played a key role in developing and popularizing the progressive house sound during the 90's. You can for sure say that he is one of the pioneers and founders of the electronic scene in Belgium with lots of residencies in legendary Belgian clubs where he played together with DJ's like Paul van Dyk, John Digweed, Danny Howells, Anthony Pappa, Sasha, Laurent Garnier, Oliver Lieb,... Phi-Phi is known for his excellent DJ mixing skills and storytelling sets. Production wise his long-time cohort with Philippe Van Mullem (R.I.P.) resulted in projects such as, Honey C, UNA, Innertales and Quadran. Phi-Phi had also some collaborations with Gregory Dewindt (Greg D), The Mackenzie, Roddy Reynaert and Airwave. All the tunes became Belgian or even European club hits. Nowadays Phi-Phi is mainly teaming up with Manu Riga and producing for himself a proper sound of quality melodic progressive electronic music. So needless to say that we are more than happy that Phi-Phi teamed up with our own label manager Pedro Mercado for this special collab on Chrom.

The first remixer comes out of Italy: nobody less then Christian Monique who has releases on labels such as The Soundgarden, Black Hole Recordings, Balkan Connection,... and is supported by big artists such as Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo, Adriatique, Guy J, Petar Dundov, and many more. Christian turns the original into a true progressive house anthem."

Like a soothing voice from the past, nostalgia signifies a sense of yearning for what was, perhaps even for what was lost. It's an emotionally tainted view back onto bygone times, carrying both melancholy and solace in remembrance of the lost qualities we prescribe to them.

The Sri Lankan, NY-based Rïa Mehta celebrates her debut on our label with the heavy & spacious production ‘Alone', representing her creative take on the feeling of nostalgia. The track leads with a roaring baseline and soft, organic percussion, creating a wide cushion for the yearning synth and the melancholic vocal of Cathy Rocher to unfold. The composition culminates in a long and soulful breakdown with the baseline transforming into a verberating echo from the past, reminding us of its inherent transient quality.

Morttagua brings “Tesla” back with two brand new remakes, one from himself and the other from melodic techno legend Ten Walls. 

Progressive anthem “Tesla”, in honor of great inventor Nikola Tesla, was released originally in 2020, making great impact on Beatport TOP 100 single charts.  In Morttagua’s new alternate version, Tesla comes back in a more hypnotic dance floor version, with new percussion grooves, melodic arps and atmospheres. 

In the Remix duties we bring the label debut of the Lithuanian legend  and musical genius Ten Walls, author of timeless classics such as “Walking with Elephants” , “Gotham”, “Requiem” and “Sparta”. This tracks pretty much helped  to spread the popularity of the emerging melodic techno genre at the time, becoming  Beatport’s  all-time best sellers and amassing  many millions of plays worldwide. 

For his Remix, Ten Walls used Tesla’s original arpeggios while putting it together with brand new melodic riffs, harmonies and drum work. With a super strong bass line groove and an emotional breakdown, Ten Walls remix for Tesla a true dance floor progressive master class.
