For the 133nd edition of Desert Hut Podcast Series, we’re pleased to welcome Tebra.

Tebra a.k.a. Milojko Jaric was born on the 7th of June, 1985. The idea for the Tebra project came after years of producing different electronic music genres.

Soon after starts the big and active work on music making and production inspired by Balkan ethnic music and world music in general. Many tracks are compiled, production gets better and better and after a couple of years of hard work he finally finds the sound that will become his main occupation in the upcoming period. 
In the autumn of 2017 Ritual records released two Tebra tracks as part of his first E.P. named “Suton”. That release gathered the attention of wide audience and soon after another track (Istok) got released under 8Cell Records (sub label of Tesseract Studio)
After the initial releases, Tebra`s music got increasingly exposed, many offers from the various record labels and invitations for Live Set and DJ performances started to follow.

Chill Out Gardens | Boom Festival 2018

Life is a pretty unexpected and weird fairy tale. When we first met the guys from @pandhora in Paris back in May and invited them to Armenia and they agreed to come, no one really believed such a thing could actually happen, no matter how sincere all of us were. And then out of nowhere, they came and spent three weeks here, and just like @vikenarman - who is more of a host at Rambalkoshe rather than a guest - they lived and felt and created a special set for us in our studio. Now that several days have passed, it’s becoming more and more believable, although we did live in a fairy tale in those days. Thank you, guys, for writing the soundtrack to that fairy tale.

Every night some time after falling asleep we enter into this dream world that we create in our brain, a product of what we perceive every day, what we have in our conscious and subconscious mind, what our imagination and creativity come up with when it's not controlled or judged by our everyday life reasoning and logic. Not always we remember let alone be aware that we are in a dream, but we do dream every single night.

Everyday I try to ask myself if I'm dreaming during the day, to have the habit of asking this same question often enough to eventually ask myself if I'm dreaming when i'm indeed in a dream. With this awakening begins a journey with no physical laws of the world we know. And with the help of this habit I am so excited and happy that I get to explore the landscape of my subconscious, my creativity and I even believe that I find some spiritual healing.

Recording this set I was in a waking dream. An emotional. intense, deep, soft, dark and powerful one.

While listening and in your daily life don't forget to do some reality checks every once in a while. Maybe one of these days you actually will be in a dream. Enjoy the ride.

What a night it was at @tivitbilisi !!! It felt really good and refreshing to explore deeper & more melodic atmospheres. It was my first visit in Tbilisi and people were so receptive for my intimate and much more introspective set in relation to what I usually play. I hope my recorded set from that evening gives you similar feelings we all felt there!
