When it's time for more restrictions, it's time for more music. We are on the role with welcoming new faces to our Babylon Family Series. The 10th podcast is produced by B.o.T.

B.o.T is a brainchild of two London based friends, Dan Calabrese and Kakes, who engage in the combination of organic with digital elements to create blending deep bass, earthy percussion, and culture-crossing instrumentation floating on a down tempo and deep house. 

The progressive musical journey of this DJ/Producer duo has led them to create sets that are true ritual experiences between downtempo, electronica, nu disco, organic, and funk until reaching the borders of melodic and techno. Their music has a distinct persona which is derived from their strong sense of individuality/eccentricity and influence from diverse cultures.

We love them and this funky set. It's always nice to get a new and refreshing take on music like the two of them provided. Enjoy it and don't forget to comment and spread this music to the world.

Enthralling from the outset, the remix builds its mystique on resonating bass stabs and surging mid-frequencies, creating a hypnotic frame that puts us under submission before narcotic fumes rise from its cavernous depths.

Propelled by a myriad of effervescent effects and acidic flourishes, the production pair leads "Belfunk" across the night into a break in the clouds where the moonlight reflects in kaleidoscopic fashion against the city's warm embrace, dousing it in a new light before chemistry works its magic.

In a delightful sleight of alchemy, Amháin & Freedo Mosho conjure a meandering lead that hangs suspended as it moves, drawing aqueous figures with every beat, showcasing a more sensual side of "Belfunk" for a sultry take on a quintessential piece of electronica.

Im vorletzten Podcast meiner Serie habe ich mal eine Künstlerin gewählt, die mal nicht hinter den DJ Pulten von Partys steht. Hekske hat eine unglaubliche Leidenschaft für den Downtempo entwickelt und nennt sich selbst die 'The Bibi Blocksberg of the Downtempo Scene'. Neben ihrer grandios kurierten Podcast-Serie „The House Witchtapes“ spielt sie seit 2017 regelmäßig für diverse Podcast-Serien Sets ein und macht dies mit unheimlicher Akribie und Hingabe. Und wie das mit den Hexen so ist … ein bisschen Magie ist irgendwie dabei auch immer im Spiel. Keiner ihrer Podcasts gleich dem anderen … immer wird für die Reihe eine ganz speziell passende Stimmung erzeugt und in einem wunderbaren Flow vermischt. Podcasting in Reinform.

Liebe Hekske tausend Dank das du als Hexe meinen letzten weiblichen Podcast einspielst. Mein Konzept mit 50/50 Podcast hat übrigens super funktioniert und ich kann allen Reihen empfehlen es evtl. auch umzusetzen … ist gar nicht so schwer … es gibt genug tolle Künstlerinnen da draus und es werden immer mehr … aber nur wenn man sie aktive supportet.

We've admired the way @joe-miller approaches his podcasts for a long time so it made sense to ask him to work his magic with Kiku. He weaves tracks together with such complexity and confidence, creating brief moments of brilliance with unexpected pairings. All 26 tracks from the album feature within the mix, some for a couple of minutes and others for just a few fleeting seconds. His blend of Kiku is a diverse, frantic trip that takes you down many different directions and avenues.
