PREMIERE: Cuneyt Cilingiroglu — Vagari (Kapibara Remix) [OMENI]

Animo Records is back with a release from label head honcho Alfonso Ares, who presents his track "Minha Loirinha" with the collaboration of the violinist player Eric Ramoa, a talented musician from Brazil.

The original track flows between melodic techy progression with organic's string and synth flavours. The release comes complete with a remix from Berlin-based producer Kellerkind, who is very well known for his usual releases on labels like Stil vor Talent, Bar 25 music, Traum or Kattermuke to name a few.

Vinícius Souza Aka RIGOONI is a brazilian producer/dj. Coming from a family of music lovers, it was just a matter of time for the young man to find his purpose. It was through his parents, listening to vinyl records since childhood, where he obtained his greatest musical influences. Self-taught, Vinícius began his productions at the age of 11 allowing himself to explore different genres of house music, building a melodic, organic, atmospheric and exciting sound to bring many positive vibes. His songs are constantly supported by big names.
In 2019 RIGOONI signed with the iconic label Balance Music for Nick Warren's album with the song "Dreamed Numbers" which reached # 4 of the label's best-selling tracks, in addition to having the honor of launching the track in vinyl format, alongside great names such as: Nick Warren, Nicolas Rada, Hernan Cattaneo, Audio Junkies, Armen Miran, Kamilo Sanclemente, Six, Black 8 and Eli Nissan.
RIGOONI begins the year 2020 with the EP "Serenade" on the big The Soundgarden with 4 new tracks.

We welcome the legendary producer and label cofounder of @8bit-records-mannheim , Gorge!

Gorge, aka Pit Waldmann’s musical journey is the story of a lifetime. From his teenage years as a pop drummer, to his vibrant DJ career, to his role as one of the most revered producers in the electronic scene, Gorge has always been hooked on the beat. „I grew up surrounded with a mix of trance, techno, house and hip-hop,“ he says. „It gave me a very open mind.“

His attitude and openness has fuelled a thriving career as DJ, producer, and co-owner, with Nick Curly, of 8bit Records. Gorge sees no reason to compartmentalise his music, or himself. As a young DJ in Mannheim, he combined working five days a week as a paramedic with playing in the city’s thriving club scene. „In the ’90s clubs were open every day of the week,“ he recalls with a laugh. „I was going to study medicine but the music infected me.“

Eventually Gorge gave up work as a paramedic to focus on music. He began releasing records in the early ’00s, experimenting with deep sounds. In 2005 he and musical comrade Nick Curly founded 8bit Records, which became one of the standout labels of forward thinking electronica. It pioneered minimal in its early years, before evolving into a deeper, groovier sound. „That’s when the real hype began,“ Gorge says.

Once it started, the hype never stopped. Gorge pushes his sound and builds his reputation with every release, every gig. „I’m not a DJ who plays the obvious tracks with the big breakdowns,“ he notes. „I show people you can have a good time with hypnotic, groovy stuff. Every night is different, but I always want to create an atmosphere in the club.“

The Uxoa Dutxa Elite group announces its alliance with Sons Mystiques as an ally label focused on Organic House, Electronica and Downtempo genres. On this occasion, the Tulum-based DJ and Producer Di Rugerio releases his fourth EP on Sons Mystiques with three tracks that carry the musical style that is lived in Tulum with ethnic and organic sounds with a progressive rhythmic base.
The track "Come Sopra Così Sotto" begins with a simple kickdrum incorporating a constant and enveloping bassline while the sound of a flute emerges with a mystical feeling between ethereal atmospheres and small riffs created with a Moog Sub 37. The track evolves with a minimalist rhythm with simple percussions and drums with light Indie Dance and Deep House overtones, excellently well executed resulting in an organic and futuristic fusion.

The artist name of this talented lady from Ukraine could also be written on the hull of a shimmering spaceship - S.One. Her sound lives up to the scenario in which such a cosmic vessel is usually found, as well: Endless depth, the psychedelic colours of spiral nebulae in the darkness, rifts and ripples in the texture of time and space. In Constellation the producer proves to be a truly special one by rolling out a pneumatic bassline and using its driving force to send subtle hints of trancy melodies floating free. This sci-fi vibe persists throughout Xenogenesis, where S.One mixes just the right quantities of banging groove and delicate harmony. For the remix, Add-Us joined the mission and delivered their very own take on cosmic melodic Techno, introducing cinematic pad sounds and tectonic bass frequencies to the original.
