Born in Toronto, relocated to Tulum and digging through crates since the 90’s rave scene. Last year he came hot out of the gate playing many events in Tulum, including releasing a live set on Ephimera’s Youtube that went viral. That only added fuel to the fire leading to bookings in Miami, Mykonos, Paris, Ibiza and even the Agafay Desert (Morocco). He also released his first production last summer joining forces with Savage & SHē (Eve of Prana) and continues to work on new music production. 

He is inspired by sounds from the Middle East across the Mediterranean to Andalusia as well as Latin America to name a few. His taste in Deep, Organic, Afro, Latin & Melodic House merges as his sets story-tell a journey and conscious pulse with soul and emotion. He has supported such artists as Dorian Craft, Baron (FR), Savage & She, Bakean, and Simone Gigante. 

It’s no wonder why he rose up so quickly this past year as his energy and vibe are contagious. MEE•KAY is a multi level artist who creates in many areas which also include; illustration, poetry and song writing. From a very young age, Nicholas Rousseau aka Kola Papass (Trance) aka Niko Papass (House) was raised in the music festival industry, discovering all genre of music always keeping a preference for the emerging and underground music, the next trend that will evolve a style to his climax. He started his first band at the age of 13 being the main composer, playing rhythm guitar and back vocals. Moving to the great city of Montreal, he then discovered the electronic music in his 20's, where he realized that his band was now possible all through the medium of a computer.
