Naza & El Mundo join forces for this Brazilian vibe afro house slow burner featuring Barbatuque

Naza steps up to the PERPLEX! label with a hot new tune that comes backed with a remix from El Mundo.

Melhor Dia means "best day" and refers to Friday night being the best day to start the weekend. The track is an exquisite seven minute journey with majestic synth work. It is bright and full of emotion as it unfolds in dramatic fashion over the succulent and rolling drums. A very Brasilian vibe with its many instruments and percussion. Afro house never sounded so good.

Melhor Dia (El Mundo Remix) then slows things down. The drums become more chunky, but the synths are just as expressive and bright, as they unfold in louche patterns up top.

This is a standout package of afro house magic.

We have no less than eight (count ‘em) new tracks to tell you about, a stunning sonic smorgasbord that summarises all Selador holds dear. But with collective attention spans allegedly getting shorter, our poor befuddled minds crushed between vapid soundbites and oppressive ‘long reads’ – how do we do them all justice in one concise press release that hits that ‘perfect length’ sweet spot? 

Our solution? To get you as excited as we are about this bountiful batch of titanic tuneage we are limiting ourselves to ten adjective-heavy words per track – all without using the words ‘banger’, ‘anthem’ or ’piledriver’ (the boss noticed our over-use of that last one). Release description: After Peter Mac's successful release 'UHURU', he returns to Inward with Mexican producer Filizola. Both producers wanted to collaborate together for some time, and when they finally did ideas naturally flourished into two Afro House gems for IWR080. Rich piano chords and African progressions flow through 'Kuvuka Mipaka', whereas 'Mitetemo ya Sahara' has an Afro Tech energy with middle eastern textures.

'Moment' is a project shared by Rocco Tetro and Michele Fazio. The Original Mix was the first version created, influenced by modern Afro sounds. Then they added more groove and percussive elements which resulted in the second version and Club Mix. Initially both instrumentals, Rocco and Michele decided to embellish both tracks with the sweet voice of Kali Mija. Here is result and IWR089.
