Ariet – musical project from Michał Gutkowski. Dj, producer and promoter from Poznań, Poland. Schron resident dj and Psylocybina founder. 

Ariet's music is inspired by altered states of consciousness and the music used for shamanic ceremonies. Ariet travels through distant lands, visiting various tribes and their curanderos, bringing healing and transformational vibrations into underground dance music. Her sets are full of tribal rhythms, deep baselines and a mystical atmosphere, played with an intention to take the listener to an inner journey.

ÅNPO̷ is a project that was born in 2015 with the approach to electronic music. From the beginning, a lover of "fast" sounds, he began his career as a DJ, playing in some raves, and continues in 2020 with the beginning of his real musical project. His productions are characterised by fast and pressing kicks, accompanied by crazy melodies and other extraordinary sounds that distinguish his style.

This week we have Michal Gutkowski behind the decks, also known as Ariet. His commitment to putting together music does not derive exclusively from his own energy, as he uses his rhythms as audiovisual therapies for himself and his listeners as well.

Michal resides in Poznan, Poland and has traveled many countries for his craft. On the 30th of September, Ariet has a new EP planned on the mighty KVLTÖ Records. 
Some words by the man himself: "I'm super excited to be joining some of my favorite producers like John Plaza, Vanta or Pattrn on the label. The EP consists of 4 tracks, which were produced in the autumn of 2021. I treat them very personally as they were the expression of the things that I was going through."

Definitely check it when it's out. But for now, please comfort yourself with this spectacular session.

This episode we are featuring the Glasgow-based producer Kairogen. The rising artist first came across music production whilst studying at art school. Later she spent her time working in the iconic nightclub Subclub, where a unique vision was formed around peak-time electronic dance music. As her taste was shaped significantly by spending time there, this naturally led to the embodiment of sounds that fit right around the edges of dance music.

Artistically, she consistently works with patterns and soundscapes where experimental patterns smoothly transition. This mix fully embraces this conception and melds across the spectrum of deep techno.
