Awesome! It sounds a little more frenetic than the original though -- might sound better if you slow it down a little?

Sounds nice. I believe with the correct ASDR parameters after each note (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Synthesizer#ADSR_envelope)  it would aquire more realism and relaxation against the current "stress" on the notes.
