Deeplomatic will release the V.A. album ‘Beat It Cancer’ on the 22nd of October, International Breast Cancer Day. The album aims to raise awareness about cancer through electronic music and boost donations towards cancer prevention organizations. For this purpose, Deeplomatic has teamed up with Breast Cancer UK and Children with Cancer UK, two charitable organizations working to prevent cancer through scientific understanding, collaboration, education and policy change.

The album showcases a wide compilation of electronic music, ranging from Deep House, Techno, and Tech House to the most joyful Jackin’ House, Melodic Techno, Organic House, Nu Disco & Downtempo. 45 top-notch artists from all around the world have joined forces to create this altruistic release.

‘Many of the artists, felt drawn to the project as they have lost friends, family and colleagues to cancer. It is a personal project for myself as well, hope we can provide our grain of sand to the collective fight of this horrible disease’- Alex Ferrer.

All proceeds from the album will be equally donated to Breast Cancer UK and Children with Cancer UK for cancer prevention and research.

'Flux' features the unique vocals of Kieran Fowkes and is inspired by the deep sound of Berlin, with minimal percussions, a beautiful organic synth riff and a bouncy bassline. The second track 'The Dark Runs' falls in a gloomy area and is defined by the same style of music.

The EP is completed with a magnificent remix by the top producer Onur Ozman.

For their 116th release, Deeplomatic Recordings have curated a seventh compilation album, Deeplomatic Flavours Vol. 7, as part of an ongoing album series that involves a mix of emerging and established house producers. Composed of twelve sublime cuts, the compilation represents a range of House and its sub-genres exploring the realms of Minimal and Tech House.

Taking the listener on a totally immersive journey, the compilation is kicked off in style with the hugely talented Chicago producer, Adonis Childs, who doesn’t disappoint in bringing those well-known windy city sounds. The second in the album comes New York resident Brian Burnside with his track “B Stomper” presenting a stronger underground vibe.

Portuguese mastermind Dutxe is up next with “Mind Dimension” a more melodic and dancier track with faster-paced minimal house sounds infused with disco and funk elements. Then we move to sounds with Deep and Afro House influences at the hand of the Australian resident EDGER with “Sahara”. After lifting the mood, comes established Turkish DJ and producer EJOOP with a deep roller called “I Feel Good”.

Initiating the second half of the compilation is the duo of Future Self and Miklo with “Stranded”, an original mix with a harmonic and minimalist take which is rich in detail. Greuvement brings us “Beyond”, a beautifully blended sound containing colourful energies that create something of an immersive Deep Fusion.

Next up are 3 emerging duos Hotline + Dynamite, Johnny Tirka & Fab. Galaxy and Kollektiv Elektra all delivering some banger productions by following up with more tech-savvy sounds.

T-X-Heaven delivers a spacey yet percussive tune wrapped in dreamy vocals that make for a subtly moody production. To finish off the album, the Japanese powerhouse Vic Yamamoto offers us “Take Me” showcasing a heavier weighted track that contains dark, deeper and vibrant bass lines, creating an industrial-like atmosphere.

Spring 2016 saw the release of Stimming’s fourth full length album “Alpe Lusia”, which was named after a remote little alpine hut in northern Italy, in which he had secluded himself to work on his LP for a full month, all by himself. From the title track of his LP emanates his following release on Diynamic, the Alpe Lusia Remixes, and the remixing protagonists are none other than Robag Wruhme, long time collaborateurs Acid Pauli & NU and last but not least Solomun.

First off is Pampa mainstay Robag Wruhme, whose take on Stimming’s “Alpe Lusia” starts off as a dark and brooding tech house gem. Later, when you have made your way through its rough outer shell, peeling off the hard claps, it shows its soft core, with gentle pads caressing the arrangement.

Acid Pauli & NU deliver a deep and driving, almost haunting reinterpretation of “Alpe Lusia", with a thumping bass and ethereal vocals that are hypnotizing.

Finally, Solomun adds a remix that reminds you of the rabbit hole in Alice's Wonderland: the longer you dig, the deeper you get, and the more fantastic is what you experienece.

The original version is the only track on the album without a real groove, which is why Stimming chose precisely this track to be remixed - to see what the others would do about that. Now it is fair to say that all three remixes have succeeded at this task.

Fred Everything is back on the label with a 2 part EP called Les Jours Paresseux. It's a collection of tracks written in the past year during the transition between his move from San Francisco to Montreal. 

Part Un features 2 versions of the hypnotic Hold On and its Dub as well as Someone Like You and a new collaboration with Atjazz called Hayden's Dance. Part Deux will be released in September.
