Heute präsentiere ich euch eine wunderbare entspanntes Set von dem grandiosen Unterhaltungskünstler „I am Harald“ aus Hannover. Seinem Sound verfolge ich auf Empfehlung meines geschätzen Afterhour Kollegen Martin schon seit längerer Zeit. Und letztens auf einer Party in Hildesheim haben wir uns nun auch persönlich getroffen … was soll ich sagen wir haben uns prächtig amüsiert.

Den Termin für den Podcast hatten wir schon seit langer Zeit ausgemacht und Harald wollte mir was ganz besonderes basteln. Nun haben wir uns aber entschlossen diese wunderbare mitgeschnittene Afterhour einer ganz besonderen Party in Italien zu veröffentlichen. Borgo D'Ale liegt zu Füssen der italienischen Alpen und war Austragungsort einer anscheinend sehr gemütlichen kleinen Family-Party … aber wir wollen hier gar nicht so viel erzählen … ich glaube die Musik spricht für sich.

Harald viele Dank für diese wunderbare Stunde und nun wünsch ich allen Hörern eine traumhafte Reise in den Süden.

It was the night that the camels of the Zerzura (@zerzura) oasis wandered over to the wild jungle of the Underworld, and I had the honour to play the sunset before the original Rebel der Träumer Elias Doré took the stage. Of course this was all during an Underworld staged a 'downtempo wegbassen' protest at Zerzura where the airwaves were hijacked with an onslaught of 150bpm+ tracks, so naturally it was our duty to show the Underworlders how we Zerzurians 'Give. Take. Put' at camel pace and find the deeper spaces.

Ferienreif 

Alle Jahre wieder kommt er zur Schülerschaft hernieder. Wenn das Thermostat beinah zerspringt und aufgrund der Hitze nur noch die Grille singt. Seit Tagen ist die Konzentration im Keller und die Zeit vergeht gefühlt langsamer, nicht schneller. 
Teilweise kommt die Lehrerschaft den kleinen und großen ein wenig entgegen, mit einem Klassenfrühstück oder Filmchen zum abschalten und zurücklehnen. Von diesen angenehmen Privilegien mal abgesehen, im Hochsommer sollte man schwimmen, nicht in die Schule gehen. 
Ein Glück nähert er sich unaufhaltsam,  der „Schuljahres Hauptgewinn“, der letzte Tag vor Ferienbeginn. Ab diesem Zeitpunkt bekommt das Schülerleben wieder einen Sinn. 
Zum einen ambivalent, weil man seine Klassenkameraden 6 Wochen lang nicht sieht. Zum anderen wunderschön, weil man 42 Tage lang dem Schulalltag entflieht. 

Dom Waits transportiert mit diesem Podcast eindeutig Ferienstimmung und die damit einhergehende gute Laune. Sommerliche Beats geben den Takt an, rauchig-verruchte Vocals, sowie Melodien aus den Synthesizern füllen den Raum mit ehrlicher Lebenslust. 
Dom beweist Feingefühl und Liebe zum Detail. Diese Leidenschaft investiert er am liebsten in sein Projekt, den Outro Podcast. Wir wünschen ihm alles erdenklich Gute und bedanken uns für dieses schnittige Sommer Set <3
