Downtempo is the right speed not only for music but also in life, slow living is not about living your life in a slow-motion, it's about doing everything at the right speed and pacing instead of rushing. Slooooowliness in corporation with oriental melodics, traditional instruments and emotional strings - this will be a real tranquilizer on the edge of magic. Lakuru, the puppet master behind this spectacle is increasing the mood with mesmerizing passion and and sense for the moment.

Çağdaş a.k.a. Anatolian Sessions is an Istanbul-based DJ and producer which interest in electronic music started at his childhood, even before he discovered his true passions. Soon he found his place in Istabul's underground scene by playing techno and derivatives, and after a short break due to his school life, he became interested in the music of his own place/geography. Further, begun to interpret the ethnic arrangements that evoked his childhood tunes and blending in the rich music culture of Anatolia with eclectic and spiritual sounds worldwide, that's when Anatolian Sessions was born in 2016.

Through 76 minutes Çağdaş embraces the story of his life to create the mixtape for our 160th edition. Hence, inspired by himself, the Turkish DJ adds tones of happiness, sadness, anxiety and stress, nevertheless, never getting the energy low but clearly showing off increasing sound construction. It's hard to define where it goes, give it a try, it's up to you.

Biography:
Als Hörer begleitet mich elektronische Musik bereits seit längerer Zeit. Vor 3 Jahren habe ich dann angefangen selber Tracks zu mixen.

Im Jahr 2019 entdeckte ich die Faszination für Downtempo. Die rhythmischen und melancholischen Klänge lassen mich immer wieder in andere Welten abtauchen.

Für Wild Silence veröffentliche ich jetzt meinen ersten Podcast. Viel Spass!
