KP DEEP MESH, Khumbulani is his real name, come back again from South Africa with a “Remixed E.P.”. for Gotta Keep Faith Records. Alongside L MESSULI, the voice,  and thanks to a great work by some of most prolific GKF’s stable producers, KP DEEP MESH deliver a 5 tracks E.P. for a fresh new music experience.
The songs were picked up by the first album released always on GKF called “Changes In My Soul EP” released in 2013.

For this release were picked up “Soon As I” that open the E.P. remixed by Italian’s DJ Umbi, and “Warning” reworked by Spiritual Blessings, Zulu’s At Work, Dj Leon El Ray & David Marques and Mr. Fuzz.

This set has Echo starting off with some great deep tunes and deep vocal tracks winding it up slowly to a more upbeat Tech House feel. Echo & Johnny Mack - Deep Fusion 4

New York's Eric Shans returns to Colour and Pitch with stunning 4 track EP ‘For The Days Ahead; a timely sequel to last year's ‘We Choose'. A fixture on Brooklyn's deep and tech house club circuit, Eric is also creative director for the excellent 3Bridge Records.

As Mr Shans himself puts it, this EP "explores more themes of loss, escapism, moving on, and living in an unsure world. It goes through different moods we might feel even on a daily basis." Dreamy opener ‘Eyes Closed' sets the tone for the EP, with a soothing piano melody over smooth deep house atmospheres. ‘There Is Nothing' takes a wistful, orchestral turn, playing with Vangelis-like synth melodies and strings over a warm, progressive groove. Sounding like the closing credits to some emotionally charged movie, ‘Torn Apart' sees Eric Shans performing powerful piano chords and simple, heart-rending vocals. Closing out the EP on a positive note, ‘From That Day On' moves back toward the dance-floor with tight, bouncy drums and a highly addictive bass-line.

"For The Days Ahead" reminds us we must always, no matter what, keep moving and keep growing, no matter what life throws at us.

We welcome South African producer KP Deep Mesh to the 3Bridge Records family as well as British producer Steve "Griffo" Griffiths. The "Hemp EP" hits the streets on Beatport exclusive May 30th! It also features a remix by 3Bridge captain Eric Shans. Deep house goodness just in time for summer. Enjoy!


We welcome South African producer KP Deep Mesh (aka Khumbulani Nhlapo) to the 3Bridge Records family with his newest EP called 'Hemp'. It features remixes by another newcomer to 3Bridge, Second City Firsts (aka Steve 'Griffo' Griffiths) as well as Eric Shans, one of the label bosses.

KP's original mix features the best elements of classic deep house along with modern style analog riffs giving the piece a great groove. Crispy stabs resonate over shuffling, grainy hats with precision and subtle melodic touches grace the piece. The 'Second City Firsts Heaven Scent Mix' highlights these elements but switches the drums around a bit softening the clap and hats, and adding quite a cheeky sample. Both compliment each other well and come just in time for summer terrace parties.

'Taken Away' is moodier in its delivery but no less captivating; it's a great warm up track that's soulful and enriching. KP's trademark buzzing stab sounds permeate throughout with saxophone riffs and bongos as well. Minor keys soundtrack a dark cityscape, lit up by fog and twinkling lights. And finally the 'Eric Shans Fly High Remix' injects a bit more techiness into the proceedings along with his trademark punchy drums and bright pads giving it some skyward facing moments. It ups the energy just a tad from the original.

We're excited for KPs Deep Mesh's first release on the label.
