The rare and mysterious Chaco eagle of South America is on the brink of extinction - less than 1000 are believed to still live in the wild and they’ve likely already been wiped out in Uruguay. These giant birds of prey are shy, enigmatic creatures and even now relatively little is known about them. Populations have been on the decline for years because of forest loss and clashes with human activity. They’re often found electrocuted by pylons or drowned in water tanks, and face direct persecution due to claims that they attack livestock (spoiler alert: they don’t). Many end up shot or poisoned. For such a small population, even a handful of deaths a year can be devastating for the species’ survival. But on the flip side, saving even one eagle’s life makes a huge positive difference too. That is why we donate all money made from this release to the Friends of the Earth Germany (BUND) who take care of species like that (see https://www.bund.net/bund-in-english/).

Long, long ago In the peaceful state of Kaya, nestled at the foot of the mighty Mount Bas, life was serene and tranquil. The people of the state thrived in their quaint villages, surrounded by lush greenery and serene landscapes. However, their peace would soon be shattered by the arrival of a fearsome dragon named Stregoi.

Stregoi, with scales as blue as ice and eyes filled with malice, descended upon the state, leaving a trail of destruction in his wake. Villages were razed to the ground, homes were reduced to ashes, and panic gripped the hearts of the people. Filled with an insatiable appetite, the dragon made the capital his nesting ground, settling atop a massive rock where he began feeding on the unsuspecting urban residents.
As the news of Stregoi's terrifying presence spread throughout the state of Kaya, fear and despair hung heavy in the air. The once serene landscapes were now marred by destruction and the cries of anguish echoed through the valleys. The people had lost all hope, believing that their peaceful existence was forever lost.

In the heart of the chaos, a brave master of Dragons - Ean refused to succumb to despair. With determination burning in his eyes, he vowed to save people from the clutches of this malevolent dragon.This is how our story began...

His efforts culminated in his first full length album, Emergence, which was released on Noisia’s Invisible Recordings in 2014, and was met with critical acclaim across the board.
After a series of single EP’s on some of the most prestigious labels, Hybris founded Pseudoscience Recordings and uses it as an outlet to present his unfiltered vision to the world.
